Clean quiet rooms. I’ve stayed here often when driving to see my daughter. Bathrooms could use an upgrade and AC is a bit loud. Bed firm and clean.

If fate should take you to Hathorne, this is the place to stay. Clean and quiet. Old and a bit run down but still Hawthorne's best.

A-1 Budget Motel was a perfectly good place to stay. Easy check in. A safe room for a good night of sleep. Dinner options nearby. For one night, a good value. No complaints.

The property is a little dated, but was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient. The bed was comfortable. I didn't need the A/C but the heater worked fine. I really appreciated the small refrigerator with it's larger than normal freezer space.

Looked like they were making some improvements to the property. Older motel but clean. Our tv had some issues but otherwise it was a good place to stop for the night while traveling. Our room was next to the street but it was very quiet.

Great place to stay on a road trip

Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. The place has an awesome retro vibe to it, and could use some maintenance, but for the price I paid....I would definitely stay there again! I love these little holler in the wall motels!
