The shops were 2 minutes walk away the hotel staff were so friendly and were able to advise what was in the area to visit. Our room was large ,clean and great shower room. The food was very good and there was lots of it, i would recommend the breakfast.

Great location as a base to walk the coastal path /connections. The staff were so lovely and helpful I couldn't fault them. It was great to have a bath in the room, a rarity in a stay like this and very welcome after a hard day's walking(!). I ate every night here and the food was typical pub fayre- which is to say good value, and the steak was perfectly done. Good selection of smart tv stations on a big tv too, thanks for a great stay :)

Overall the area around the property is very good easily access the coastal path lovely walk but tricky in some parts the shops and bars restaurants only 3 minutes walk and about 15 minutes to the cathedral the staff are very friendly and helpful breakfast was very good also do evening meals on the downside the rooms need updating sooner rather than later i I would consider returning in the future 😀 hopefully to refreshed rooms big thanks to all the staff doing a great job
