“We loved our weekend , the hotel was in a great location . Facilities staff and food were wonderful . The only downside was the constant traffic noise at night until early hours of the morning . This is probably the busy bank holiday weekend .”

“Pretty run down. We spent a few hours there. Got at 1:30 at night. Got room with only 1 bed (4 people). They were nice and fixed the problem in 10 min. EV charger obsolete, could not plug my Tesla. Very old Tesla charger. Other charger required some network membership. Not great. Good I had enough charge to make it to the channel tunnel. But this increased our trip next day in 45'”

“We were there for an event therefore did not go sightseeing. Yes car park was safe.”

“They have a small English breakfast and a choice of others. The twin room was large and had a long area for eating snacks and making drinks. The roomy bathroom and the large shower was no messing, just on off and temperature, which stayed constant. The Hunter's chicken was the best I had ever had. Excellent staff, excellent dining, for a three star hotel it is above and beyond.”

“What a lovely stay. The staff were so friendly snd efficient. Hreeted with cheery smiles whenever you encountered them. Thr room was great and when my plans unexpectedly changed, they kept me in my room gor the extra night. The hotel is close to town and a nice stroll. Will stay here again.”

“My husband and I only stayed overnight but wished it had been longer. We were amazed how beautiful the gardens are and we made sure we walked round them and visited the castle before we left. We stayed in the Stable Courtyard and the room was excellent with all the facilities expected of a 5* hotel. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Thanks to all the staff who were helpful and professional.”
