“This is not really a 5 star hotel but a 4 star. The staff were delightful, friendly and always ready to help and the spa was amazing, but the room let it down. We had a crescent view, which was lovely, but the mattress was uncomfortable and I had to pad it up with pillows. There weren't the amenities you would expect in a 5 star hotel such as a coffee machine, just a kettle, sachets of instant coffee and no fresh milk. “brewing facilities inadequate no tea just two sachets of coffee 1 orange tea and a hot chocolate loads of milk but no teabags not adequate for tow people. Room was great vintage furniture bath and shower excellent. Enjoyed our visit breakfast was excellent would stop again.”

“On our arrival we were met by the delightful owner who made us feel very welcome. She was also a source of information which proved extremely beneficial. Our room was part of the converted stable block which was fine apart from the small windows which made the room dark and claustrophobic. Had we stayed longer then I would of asked to be moved. The bathroom was impressive which consisted of both shower and slipper bath. Food good served by young staff who looked after all our needs really...

“I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back.”
