The property and location were great. Super convenient. There was loads of parking in a basement garage (for a fee).
Our room was a bit run down and smelled a bit like cigarettes. But it did feel clean and it was cheap. It was what we needed for one night!
The place was clean and well maintained for the price. Parking is $15 per night. Breakfast was decent, better than I expected. I would definitely stay again.
Things to Note (Includes both the bad, and the good.)
- The parking lot was full of holes and quite rough.
- The moment I walked into my hotel room, there were a few flies near the window.
- There were no clean towels when requested.
- Dusty/Unknown Residues present in the bathroom.
- Free Breakfast is Nice
- Wifi was lacking to say the very least, had to use a hotspot.
I booked kind of last minute and for the price I was very pleased. The front desk staff was great. I had a special request and it was handled. Breakfast was good and a good selection
Breakfast was great and so is the parking. Building could have done a bit cleaner and upgrade. Bathroom was old and need to upgrade. That was a main disappointment in bathroom. Staff was good and nice.
Breakfast was excellent. Bed was lumpy. All in all not a bad stay

Liked: Staff & service
The only “ amenity” really is the breakfast. it has the typical simple buffet (solid). Our first room had a terrible smell, could not stay in there. the staff quickly rectified and gave us another room. however, working in Hartford the room fit the value of the price and you are right downtown. We we’re staying over for a concert.

Location was amazing!! On and off the highway easily. Walking distance to local restaurants, peoples arena, and Bushnell park. Felt safe. Breakfast was good and breakfast area was very clean. Our hotel view of the city was beautiful. Our 1 night stay was good with some things to take into consideration:
Hotel garage is an underground garage so ceiling is low and garage is tight to maneuver so smaller cars are easier to use to park in the garage. Pillows weren't that comfortable pretty flat for my standard And one drawer kept opening on its own in the dresser.
the smell of marijuana in the lobby and hallway was very strong and overwhelming I hope that can change.
The hotel stay was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect - we needed to be near the convention center and we were just 5 minutes away. Would stay here again.

The overall experience was good, however a fire alarm woke us up at 6:30 in the morning. Unfortunately we stayed at the top floor and my partner on a walker would not have been able to negotiate the fire stairs. I had indicated with the reservation that I am traveling with a handicapped person and it looked like we had an handicapped accessible bathroom. Wish we would have been accommodated in a lower floor. Thank god the alarm was a failed one (something burned in the kitchen, we were told)
