The hotel was nice but showing it’s age. The bathroom was freezing cold in January. We had to keep the bathroom door open at all times to not freeze. Beds are very firm. The staff were friendly especially at the bar and grill.

The room was on the smaller side, but our stay was great! We loved the history of the hotel, which is why we chose to stay there. They survived the great depression and world war II. It kind of felt like we were staying in another country. We would definitely stay again. Anne served us at breakfast. She was very kind. And do not underestimate their pancakes. One is equal to 3, so light and fluffy.

Hotel was very well kept. Awesome atmosphere and old world charm, felt like stepping back into the 30s or 40s. Staff was very nice, room was amazing. Breakfast and dining options were great. Just a very cool old hotel with lots of charm and history and very well kept. Would be great for bikers as it has a covered parking garage behind the hotel. Very nice.
