First time I ever left a hotel/motel that I booked without staying overnight. Dirty and felt unsafe. Despite being marked as smoke free room, the room had an extremely strong cigarette smell. The staff was fine (no complaints) and stated we would get refunded, although it is too soon to tell if I will actually receive refund.

The place is a dump. Only thing good was linen & towels were clean and price was lowest in the area. Room smelled musty. Bathtub had mold. Last paint job splattered paint on floor. Paint was chipped and peeling in several places. Deadbolt for door between rooms was missing and the hole plugged with tissue paper. Peep hole in entry door was plugged with tissue paper. Bathroom floor was so dirty that black footprints from bare feet appeared on bathmat BEFORE stepping into shower. Soft Drink machine was empty. Even the hostess at the restaurant next door plus other travelers with past experience said not to stay there, so this place has a reputation, yet the local chamber of commerce and health department apparently don't know about it or look the other way. We stayed one night and went elsewhere for the next 5 days. The best thing that can happen to this place is to burn it down and start over.
Sooty footprint occurred when stepping from bare floor to bathmat.

Five star staff, 3 star facility

The first room we entered was terrible. The smell was horrendous, it reeked of marijuana, the floors were sticky, there were burn marks on the comforter, and there was no toilet paper roll holder. The staff was very accommodating when we complained and changed our room immediately. That room was so much better, and the bed was the most comfortable mattress we had ever slept on in a hotel! They are in the process of remodeling, so it was messy at that time.

The area itself seemed sketchy. I did like that they were kid and dog friendly. The room itself was clean but the ac barely worked and the towels were very old. The parking area could of used a bit of cleaning up. If you need towels or clean sheets they average a whole day to get it back to you. But they didn't include washcloths or pillowcases in the return. The beds were comfortable. There isnt much close by for food. A dollar store and dominos a couple mins down the road. Staff were friendly. Overall its not to bad i just didn't care for the area. Hopefully they get the ac going right and perhaps quicker with the linens. The ice machine was out of order during our stay too.

The room was old, had a weird odor missing a drawer and several light bulbs. The beds were comfortable. Was disappointed being I have stayed at other red roof inns.

This is seriously one of the worst motels I've ever stayed in. I was deployed in Iraq and honestly I felt safer sleeping there than I did in this hotel for a night. I had to go to several rooms to find one I felt comfortable sleeping in. The 1st room I looked at literally had stains on the cover spread, sheets, and a giant stab mark in the chair. The 2nd room was no better with roaches crawling in the bathtub. I went to the front desk with both and they moved me to what they consider "a good room". This "upgrade" got me a room where the security latch was broken and stains under the bed cover. Stains in the shower, stain, shower, curtains, and roaches that only came out at night. The hallways were dimly lit, Had trash piled up in them, and no sense to safety or security at all. If you read the reviews, the staff at this location keeps saying thank you for letting us know. We’re working on it or we’re making improvements. But clearly none of those comments have caused them to do anything about it. I don’t think it’s too much to ask that hotel motel whatever have clean sheets. This seems like the minimum requirement for being open to the public. I’d prefer not to get platitudes from the hotel management and would actually like either money or back or them to close so that nobody else has to waste their money there.

The staff are very friendly and responsive; they helped with all my questions. But the building itself and what’s inside is a nightmare! It’s not worth $70 a night. The first thing I noticed when I entered the room was a sharp smell of bleach that couldn't be aired out. Cockroaches and spiders are everywhere; they don’t even hide. I had a bag sitting there, and they crawled inside, so I had to shake it out. The toilet is dirty, and I didn’t even use the shower—it’s scary... The bathroom door looks battered; it's unclear what happened there. Every little noise from the neighbors is audible. The bed linens might be clean, but everything is stained and ingrained. I recommend renting this hotel only if everything else is booked and it's your only option.
