This was a first visit to property and we were very satisfied with all aspects of the Marina village. Although arrived early we were allowed access to room straight away, at that time of day parking was very good. Had lunch in bar/restaurant, choices on menu very good. For anyone travelling by rail station right next to site across canal. I would definitely stay again

I love this place, it's in such a gorgeous location next to the river. The rooms are good and comfortable, staff very helpful, with a good new bar/restaurant. The only downside for me is that my usual choice of rooms (the only 3 rooms which I can get my bike into, as there's no secure bike parking here), which used to have a nice peaceful view of trees from their private patios, now have a great big trailer installed right in front of the patios. So no privacy, and it's not nice to sit in the patios any more.

Room was spacious and clean, good shower, excellent night's sleep as very quiet. Food choice other than the onsite cafe that stops serving at 19.30 is a 0.5m walk to the nearest pub that even though a green king was really excellent as was not your standard green king.

Really nice room. Very clean and and the ease of access to the car park and bar was brilliant. The only downside to this room is the lack of air conditioning available. We stayed during the English heatwave and it was very difficult to keep the room temperature down without leaving the patio sliding door open all night. Other than that, it's a beautiful location.

Good parking. Nice area. Staff were friendly. Room was cold even with heating on, asked for an extra heater but the staff couldn’t find me one. Mold growing on the inside of the fridge. Food was pretty poor from the boathouse cafe, cheap though.
