“I’ve just returned from my second stay at the Sir Alfred Munnings. Located in a lovely, quiet village, I was welcomed, treated very well throughout, and enjoyed my stay. ”

“Yet again, absolutely wonderful. Even though they were very busy on this occasion, they were still helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great as usual, lots of choices. I always have the cooked breakfast, the only silly thing, Whats with the beans in a ramekin, l like it on my plate(personal preference). However i just scooped them out onto my plate... easy. Not a negative review. Always wonderful. Love the place. Will most likely be staying again for a few days next time at the end of the month.”

“It was the most relaxing weekend you could ask for, it was so peaceful and the staff were amazing. Can’t recommend enough a weekend at Retreat East. Also the spa and food was amazing. ”

“Lovely room. Ours was at the top, it was a hot night and heat rises! We did have the windows open but it’s quite a busy road so lots of road noise. The blind also let in a lot of light too and if light sensitive there was a bright green light shinning in the ceiling. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Restaurant packed and the food was good. I had the roast and my husband had the mutton curry - huge potions. Staff very helpful and smiley but rushed off their feet. ”

“The stairs to 2nd floor rooms are a bit confusing but other than that all was good Excellent breakfast served a very nice and capable young lady called Amy. Jack who booked us in was also very professional ”
