Hanwood station (site/remains). View NE, towards Shrewsbury: ex-GW&LNW Joint Shrewsbury - Buttingon (- Welshpool) secondary main line, junction of branch to Minsterley. The station was closed to passengers 12/9/60 (goods 4/5/64), but the line remains open for trains to Aberystwyth etc. via Buttington and Welshpool. The Minsterley branch, which joined about a half mile to the west, was closed to passengers 5/2/51, to goods 1/5/67.
