Very happy with my stay at the Sono. All staff were incredibly helpful and kind from the moment we arrived. Helped to book a day trip, always going out of their way to say hello and check we were ok, provided us with an umbrella on a rainy evening. Really made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Also the location in Hanoi Old Quarter is great.

The hotel was ideally located in the old town. The staff were very friendly and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Even down to organising our trip and ride back to the airport.

Cheap hotel in the middle of the City. We got a room without windows to the open, but to the hallway. Very basic but clean and the staff very friendly and helpful

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sonos. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they sorted all my excursions and when I had a small problem with the balcony door it was fixed within a couple of hours. I found the hotel very clean, choosing a room with a balcony was a really good move and I spent quite some time watching the hustle and bustle in the street below. The noise level of traffic wasn’t a problem for me. The breakfast was good and there was always as fresh bottle of water in the fridge each day. The location was good, I like walking and it was easy to walk the old city from here, and the night market is just a few minutes walk away. I highly recommend it ff you’re looking for a reasonably priced, clean and incredibly friendly place to stay.

Our stay at this hotel was truly memorable thanks to the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. When we asked for restaurant recommendations, they didn’t just point us in the right direction—they personally walked us to a nearby spot, which was such a kind gesture. The owner was equally welcoming, offering us great tips for our trip and making us feel right at home. Even after we checked out, they kindly let us leave our suitcases so we could explore the area without any hassle. Their warmth and hospitality went above and beyond—highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay very much in Hanoi area. The hotel is conveniently located and you can walk everywhere around the Old Quarter. Our room was facing the busy road which is noisy but it quiets down quite a bit in the later evenings and overnight. The people working here are fantastic. Very friendly and helpful at the front desk and at the travel agent counter. We booked Halong Bay and transportation to and from through this travel agency. Thank you for a very nice stay in the Hanoi area.

This was my first stop at Vietnam during my travels. Great central location with the Old Quarter right on its doorstep. The hotel has a lovely feel to it, price is reasonable and the staff were so lovely and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped me during my stay and with my onwards travel. I enjoy staying at Sono so much and as a solo traveller I felt very safe. Communication with the hotel was excellent from the outset, I just wish I could’ve stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

Awesome stay

Amazing experience, Luke and all the front desk staff were amazing. So welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great. Will def come back! Price was great too. Location was very close to lots of shops & eating places. They even gave us an upgraded room, so awesome.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour. L'équipe est la star de cet hôtel. Elle est aux petits soins. Je ne mets pas 5 etoiles globalement car il y a des petites choses qui m'ont embetées. Au niveau propreté notamment il y avait des traces de moisissure dans la douche, pas beaucoup mais tout de même. Autre petit point embetant, j'avais la chambre juste en dessous de la salle du petit déjeuner, il y avait des bruits de chaises le matin tôt.

O hotel é razoável. Móveis datados e roupa de cama/banho não são das melhores. Boa localização. Funcionários simpáticos mas precisei de uma coberta, por conta do ar condicionado, e disseram que não tinham. Só forneceram um lençol extra depois de muito pedir. O café da manhã é razoável.
