We thought Solaria was a great base for our visit to Hanoi and Vietnam's north (with side trips to Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh & Sa Pa). Well located near the lake, and just on the outskirts of the (crazy, bustling) old quarter -a couple of minutes walk away The staff could not do enough for us - super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great with plenty of western and local options. The rooms are medium sized, but very comfortable.

The thing I loved most about Solaria was the staff. They are incredibly hospitable, very friendly and go the extra mile for guests. This is a beautiful hotel right downtown Hanoi walking distance from everything you could need. The roof top bar provides a beautiful sunset view and the cocktails we had were the best we drank in Hanoi (and we drank a lot at various places!)

The e location was perfect for exploring Hanoi Old Quarter and it’s very close to notable tourist sites in the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and recommend it to others

We had a great four night stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, right near the lake with lots of dining choices close by. But by far, the greatest light of this hotel is the staff and how they look after you like family.
