Highly recommend this hotel for your trip to Hanoi! Very centrally located, and the hotel and rooms are clean and well maintained and daily housekeeping. Prices super good for what you get. The staff here are so amazing and helpful too!! Huong at reception was so sweet and always willing to help me and ensure my needs were taken care of :)

This hotel has an excellent location within the Old Quarter and everyone on the staff was wonderful! The hotel itself is rundown. The walls are dirty and furnishings are old and worn. This hotel is a good 2-star option with a great location.

Great Location, but Beware Deceptive Sales & Poor Cleanliness Overall, my stay at the Parklane Hotel in Hanoi was just okay. The Good: The location is perfect for exploring, and having in-house travel services is convenient in theory. The Bad: The hotel desperately needs a deep clean (I found a cockroach in my room). Also, the breakfast was underwhelming and did not match the online photos at all. The Ugly (Deceptive Sales): The biggest issue is the staff's pushy, manipulative approach to selling tours. Their deals are consistently more expensive than booking online yourself. Watch out for these tactics: Conditional Freebies: They haggle over basics like airport transfers and luggage storage, offering them for "free" only if you buy their pricey cruise packages. Shady Upgrades: I booked a Lan Ha cruise through them. They claimed they would "try" to get a free upgrade, then tried to charge me a premium for it the next day. They clearly secure upgrades for free and try to pocket the cash by putting you on the spot to negotiate. Currency Tricks: Never negotiate in USD! They will agree on a USD price, but charge your card in VND using a terrible exchange rate to squeeze extra money from you. Expect to be haggled at every turn. Stay for the location, but absolutely book your tours elsewhere!

Wonderful location, staff was friendly and the rooms are nice. Overall a very pleasant stay, the only negative experience was the disgusting liquid they tried to call coffee. If staying there just go to any of the nearby cafes for a good cup of coffee.

A bit run down but comfortable and prime location

The location of the Parklane is amazing, right near everything in Old Town while still being quite. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was nice. The hotel could use some updates to furniture, repainting of walls, scrubbing of showers, etc. but overall we enjoyed our stay here and for the price it was definitely a pleasant experience.

Staffs are very helpful and friendly. The location is great if you want to visit the old square. There is also a big terrace on the 5th floor (for family room). All in all a good experience. The curtains could be better to prevent the light from the outside floor to the room during the night. Will visit again if possible.
