Let’s start with the positive: Staff is friendly and accommodating, and there is at least one receptionists with good English skills. Breakfast is various but average, nothing exceptional. Negative: The structure is quite old and would benefit a deep renovation inside. The room was quite noisy from the traffic outside and the pillow too thick without other options.

Mosquitoes were terrible in the room. There’s holes in the floor of the bedroom. no way to prevent water getting all over the floor in the bathroom as it’s just an open tub and a shower head with a drain on a leveled floor. Don’t be fooled by the lobby and pretty design the actual rooms are quite poor in comparison to other places.

comfortable hotel 15 min walk from hoan kiem

15 min from the heart of hoan kiem lake, good local eateries near by. Good location and comfortable hotel. It was quiet at night from hanoi standard. The staffs were friendly and helped us book an airport taxi, which was better pricing than grab taxi. free water was a nice add.

Very bad experience

we stayed there 7 days and booked and pay in advance (the biggest mistakes). We also asked about clean and not noisy room! The place was very noisy (we stay on 5th floor) all night can hear horns of the cars, motorbikes. the worst experience was that another room made a noice during the night till 6 am when we informed reception many times with 0 % help. They call us back if alright but the music and noise was still loud especially base of speakers. We have a small kid and was impossible to sleep. Music from another room started at 10 PM and goes over whole night till 6am (it takes 4 last nights). Unbelievable how staff of the hotel was not able to solve this out. Also hot water in our bathtub was not working, as we paid for it. The mess under the bed - cigarets, empty bottles of water etc (we took a pictures). Very bad cleanliness. Smell of the room (no smoking as we were informed) was very bad (smell of cigarettes), poor breakfast as well.
