The hotel was situated in a good location for our trip. It was close to the train station which had great links to the airport. Our only complaint was that the tea/coffee was not replenished during our stay without asking the even g before.

I go to Hannover every year and this is the first time that I stayed right beneath the central station. hotel is a bit old but does the job. last year, I stayed at the other intercity north of hbf, it was a bit better with a nicer view.

In general it is a great hotel and the location is perfect. Only the staff at the front desk need to be trained better. They didn’t know how to adjust the air condition for example. All in all a hotel I would recommend.

Convenient location close to main station and shopping precincts. An empty bottle and a biscuit wrapper had been left in the room by a previous guest and probably missed in oversight by the cleaner. Bedding, towels & everything else spotless as expected. Due to the high temperature for the time of year I left the window open, to be woken sporadically by screeching tyres from the adjacent carpark. For 1 night if was fine, would stay again if passing through.

A decent hotel with just a few small set backs

Overall a good hotel with pilot staff and comfortable stay. A couple of things keeping it from amazing are: the 1am noise from the drunks on the street - even on a Thursday night, I got charged 4 Euro’s for a coffee that was only half a cup and tasted pretty cheap and awful, and the room service replaces the coffee sachets but not the powdered milk which I didn’t realise until 7am when I was leaving. Otherwise a perfectly fine hotel and I would stay there again. 2 of these things are an easy fix and one of them isn’t the hotels fault but is worth knowing.

i don,t found my reserved room when i checked in .. i reserved business plus room 25 sq m but they gave me business room 18 sq m , i looked to fiend any manager to speak with him but there was no manager , there was a nice guy in the reservation desk his name Mohammed from tunisia he try help me as much as he can but he failed give me the room i paied for it . at the end after three nights he refunded a part of money which is not fare but i stayed in a room i don,t liked at all fo four nights

We have stayed in this hotel at least 4 times (most recently Nov/Dec 23) and it is in an excellent location and area near the Hauptbahnhof and the main shopping area. It is in very easy walking distance to all the Weihnachtsmarkt locations when there pre-Christmas. The rooms are so clean and have excellent facilities including a reasonable fridge, 43" flat screen tv, safe and now a kettle and mugs etc. for tea & coffee. The large King size double is extremely comfortable.The breakfast is excellent (17 euros) with both hot and cold, albeit we mainly have breakfast from the fridge in the room courtesy of close by Lidl or Rewe supermarkets................ We only have 2 negative comments as follows; (1) occasionally not enough staff on the reception desk to deal with new arrivals or answer queries from existing clients quickly enough and (2) On all our visits (in winter) particularly when very cold, there has been quite a draft of cold air from windows, however this intermittent issue does not outweigh the advantages of staying at this hotel. We really like it; very good Germanic cleanliness and attention to detail. Phil & Linda Ratcliffe

I stayed 7 nights in the Intercity Hotel Hannover for opera visits. During the week it is a business hotel, in the weekend visitors to the city. The housekeeping (room cleaning) is 'on request' so when you want to have a clean room, new coffee cups, fresh towels and your bed made up when coming in at the end of the day, make sure to ask at the reception at check in for housekeeping EVERY day. There was a bit confusion at the desk even when asking more than once but it worked out in the end The hotel is 2 walking minutes from the main shopping area and train station and other public transport and and about 5 minutes from the opera house. For me (walking difficulty) this was very pleasant Lots of drinkers, drug addicts and confused people in the neighborhood of the hotel. Hotel: please clean the area around the entrance of the hotel in the morning from wodka bottles and beer cans, cigarette buts and leftover food. It looks very shabby and unclean looking out when having breakfast, not very representative for a 4* hotel. I know this is a problem all over the city but the square in front of the hotel should look clean. Breakfast is fine, with enough healthy options and when the breakfast room is full and noisy, you can sit in the more quiet bar area (as I did). The hotel is comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful . My room (429) at the back was very quiet at night. Next time when in Hannover I will stay there again for the location land the clean and comfortable rooms.

This is a great hotel for those wishing to stay close to the Hannover city centre including the main train station - Hbf. There are plenty of places to eat and do shopping including the malls and restaurants within minutes. My only gripe was they key card did not work, after arriving in the hotel after a tiring journey at 10:30 pm, the last thing you want is a non-functioning key card. I had to go down 3 flights of stairs to get a new key and the receptionist was pretty non-chalant about it. This is why they lost 2 stars in my opinion
