Perfect hotel very close to train station. Great breakfast. Room very clean, good water pressure in shower, and bed comfortable. Staff spoke English well and were quite helpful.

Free mini bar and lovely room

Central-Hotel Kaiserhof is conveniently located within walking distance to the train station and attractions in Hannover. The staff was friendly and my room very comfortable and nicely decorated as were the rest of the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to be treated with drinks and peanuts in the mini bar. Very generous!

Excellent choice for your stay in Hannover

You can expect nice and efficient (in a good way) customer service both in the hotel and in the restaurant as well. The location is superb and even though it is a bit outdated on some parts, it fits here and it doesn't make it feel old and shabby. If you're precise with having a double or twin room, I suggest to check it from the hotel before arrival. The reality doesn't match with information at Hotels.com. At least it didn't when we stayed. We booked a twin but the assigned room was double. However the staff handled the situation with an exceptionally good manner.

This hotel was totally fine for a 2 night business stay. It’s literally across the street from the train station and is a good hub for whatever business you might have. The only thing is, it claims to be a 4 star hotel. I have absolutely no idea how it came to get that rating. The facilities are comparable to an average three star no frills hotel. The inside of the hotel is worn, scuff marks on the walls, and the carpet is in bad need of replacing on the stairs and throughout the hotel. It’s just not that nice.

I never give reviews but this stay was so bad I feel I need to - lift broken ,key card never worked on door so spent my time up and down the stairs …interior shabby , bed uncomfortable and really small , noise levels terrible , room not even adequate with regards plug sockets and towels etc …only good thing was location …

Amazing Hotel

I stayed for a week while visiting family. The hotel is beautiful, my room was spacious and so quiet, although just a minute away from the station. Staff were helpul and welcoming, by the second day, I was being addressed by name when going for breakfast and asked if I would like my usual pot of coffee or something else. The range of food available was excellent. Other touches that demonstrated your custom is valued are the free minibar and snacks, replenished daily, slippers provided and large bottles of their lovely body lotion given away. The most lovely touch however came on the middle day of my stay, when a lovely lady delivered 'a present' to me. A printed card, in my native language with my name and the signature handwritten, hoping my stay was enjoyable and encouraging me to speak to staff if anything could be improved, accompanied by a delicious apple cake! Such attention to detail will certainty ensure I return!

Just Not Good Enough – So Many Problems.

This place was bang-OK. The problems were many. The single room is tiny (tiiiiiiny), with an ageing shower that vacillated between hot and cold with German efficiency, no air con in a heatwave, situated in an area of Hannover that was extremely noisy through the night (with the windows open as there was no A/C), the walls between the single cells, I mean rooms, are so thin my neighbour's gentle snoring was audible, and his choice of TV station discernible at 6.30am, and almost as annoying was a key card lock that failed every day – literally every day. When you're on the third or fourth floor going up and down to try a key each day (one day it failed 4 times) this is a major pain. I'll score this place generously but it was not a highlight of my trip to Germany and I'd avoid this hotel at all costs if you're even tempted to stay in the cell for one.

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato per 5 notti presso questo hotel. Camera molto grande e belle tende coordinate con la moquette. Frigobar free. Colazione completa di tutto in sala elegante, arredata con gusto che ha anche un bel pianoforte. Bagno spazioso e doccia walk-in. Personale gentilissimo, accogliente, cordiale e mai invadente. Se dovessi ritornare ad Hannover, sicuramente prenoteremmo di nuovo presso questa struttura. Maria D.T.

Hotel is just a minute’s walk from Hbf in a good area for shops. It is comfortable enough but the decor and carpets are looking a little tired and worn. Breakfast is expensive for what it is.

Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Hauptbahnhof und die Innenstadt ist gut zu erreichen. Mein Einzelzimmer war Groß genug, ist aber nichts für den Sommer, da es keine Klimaanlage hat. Und es ist geht direkt zur Straße raus deshalb ist es auch Nachts sehr laut, da man ja die Fenster auflassen muss, mangels Klimaanlage. Außerdem ist alles Renovierungs bedürftig.
