This was a last minute getaway for my husband and I. We were very happy with the property. The price was reasonable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The Location was convenient for the beach and all that the area offers. The bed was comfortable and loved that it had free parking. Much better property than the place we stayed at a couple years ago that was right on the beach boulevard. We look forward to staying here again.

The room was as expected, freezing cold ac and super hot heater when on (accidentally turned on by my 2 year old). Wish they had coffee in the room, but that’s a simple thing to go get across the street at flamingos. Great location, would stay again!

The most efficient check in i have ever experienced. Great room very clean and cute. Only one A/C unit and that was in the living room. Made for a hard time to sleep. No TV in the bedroom.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and they were very responsive to any requests I had. I ended up canceling my other hotel reservation to stay another night here, and Heather gave me a discount without me even asking! She saved me $50 and it made the stay even more reasonable and affordable and it already was affordable and you get more than you expect, especially right at the beach. I felt like Heather and Bob treat guests with respect and are friendly and easy to communicate with, while the hotel I had just came from was behind on my room being ready by over 3 hours, and were very polite but not very personable and I was just one of the many beach vacation check ins,.

Property was exactly how described. Close to everything near by and a quick walk to the beach. The set up was more like an apartment than a hotel. There was a bedroom, living room with a pull put couch and open floor plan with the kitchen connected. A full size fridge was a plus as well as ice being sold in the lobby. There was an elevator and stairs to get to your room. An outdoor shower to rinse off when returning from the beach. I did read in one review that there was no coffee maker in the room but our room did have a small coffee pot. The only thing was the pull out bed was thin but that's nothing they can control as it needs to fit in the couch. We will be returning to this property if we vacation in Hampton again.

Check in was easy, Game room,fitness room and laundry were locked most of the time and didn’t have access. Front desk was not open in the mornings and no one was there working in the mornings. The room was outdated; screen to the balcony didn’t work great and the room was not vacuumed. Found food and garbage in the main bedroom on the floor at the nightstands when we arrived. Offered parking on check out day for a fee, but no staff was there to pay and get a parking pass so we had to leave to park elsewhere. But, convenient location.

Great stay loved how close it was to the beach and free parking!! House keeping could pay more attention when cleaning to the little things like the facet in the bathroom and the toilet cleaning brush having dust n dirt on it,butttt for the price it wasn’t bad at all has a game room n workout room i will definitely book here again!!

The resort was clean, and the parking was excellent. Our only complaint was that the hallways were very hot and the air conditioning in our room was turned off when we arrived. We understand the desire to conserve electricity, but it took several hours for the room to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Having the AC set to a moderate temperature before guests arrive would greatly improve the check-in experience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

The Sands resort and staff are amazing. The room was simple but clean. Perfect for staying the night in a spur of the moment decision. It’s a quick walk to the beach or boardwalk and parking there was easy. They also went above and beyond by helping find something left behind in the room. They absolutely did not have to, we would have never known, and the object wasn’t valuable. BUT, they called, TWICE, after finding the missing items which absolutely prevented a major meltdown and allowed us all spend our final hour in the area enjoying ourselves instead of leaving miserable because of the missing items. Thanks Again!

Room was clean , however there was a very unpleasant moldy smell. The floors felt uneven and duvets in spots , especially near sliding doors there were soft spots under the rugs. The room was supplied with plastic tall drinking cups (of which 2 of them were left dirty in cabinets) plastic plates, and coffee maker but no coffee cups.

The room was absolutely disgusting. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 3 years. Every corner of this room was dirty. The tub was gross, fridge had mold along with the bathroom curtain. Bed had stains and hair and the most impressive thing was the window! Had accumulated dirt and stains that looked to be 10 years old. Behind the bed there was a mountain of dust and dust mites in every corner. I’ve traveled quite a lot and this is the most horrific room I’ve ever seen. Took us 1/2 hr to leave. Thankfully the manager was very nice and gave me a refund immediately without question. We could not stay in the room for more than half hour.
