Check-in was easy, the front desk personnel is very friendly. Got to our room and we were extremely disappointed. It had not been thoroughly cleaned, there was hair all over in the shower, the toilet had barely been cleaned, there were still urine stains along the back end of it, and the floor had smears of something on it. The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but smelled like smoke. The people that were there before us had covered the smoke detector, with wet paper towels, and we had to peel it off, due to the cleaning crew not cleaning the room thoroughly. It was dusty, everything is very old. The couch looked disgusting, and there was food and stains all inside of it. The chairs had stains. The refrigerator had condensation leaking out of it. You have to check out all of your cooking utensils, and tools from the front desk and carry them up to your room, they tell you to wash the dishes, however, they do not provide dishwashing soap. The pool was not kept up and looks terrible. And when the staff would take their breaks, they would stand outside the door and smoke right underneath our room, so if we had the window windows open the smoke wood and filter our room. The beds were comfortable, the decor was just really really old. Think 90s. The best part was the staff, they were very friendly and tried to accommodate as best they could conveniently located by several eating places, we were able to walk to.
Pool was not upkept.
The screen was completely broken on the window.
Couch was in horrible condition and had stains, food and hair all in it.
These were the only other chairs in the room, they were so uncomfortable, the kids hated sitting on them.

We've stayed here 3 times over the past 3 years and the property is just slowly falling into disrepair. This last stay had door knobs falling off the bathroom door, bathroom ventilation fan didn't work, and living room TV didn't work properly with a damaged ban of pixels at the bottom. You can check out plastic plates now instead of real plates a there's a business side hustle ofthe lot.

Loved the full kitchen and size of the rooms. Negatives were the fridge is all rusted on the bottom outside and I found a few items from previous guests that housekeeping didn't remove previously. Overall I would stay again though. Front desk staff for check in was very friendly.

It was a booked out weekend. I had a room on the first floor near the desk. I'm a night shift worker, so my stay is always vharged a day more than needed, but they only look at traditional bookings when scheduling. The room smelled heavily of smoke and by day 3, all my scrubs stank going to work. I stayed a week and worked 6 overnights.

This property definitely surprised us!!! I expected (due to price) just a mediocre establishment. Instead, we found ourselves in Extended Stay Heaven. HUGE rooms with one bedroom and queen bed plus sofa made into a bed and a nice size desk plus huge kitchen with even a dishwasher. In regards to the kitchen area, they come completely unfinished. Bring your own everything to do with food and dining in the room. Otherwise, absolutely perfect and much more than we thought $78 could ever get us. The room was very clean and the bathroom was even huge and spacious. We will stay again when we visit the Covington-Mandeville areas in the near future.

The shower head was still tilted against the back wall from the last time I stayed here, to steam my shirts during my stay after my shower. The TV in the "family room" doesn't work. Really negates the reason for getting a suite. But i have to say, the manager Charles went out of his way at the end of his shift to get me into a reserved room six weeks ago when the internet took a dump across south LA. He was due to get off a while before I came in, but he directed me to the lounge to chill. Charles made sure that I got in my room before he left. I gotta be honest...I would hire this guy just on principle.

There were German roaches, room was hot, the room was old smelling and not up to date. Carpet peeling up and in the kitchen the wood coming up. Had to wait 20 minutes for check in cause the person was not at front. She was not helpful and didn’t seem to care about nothing. Smelled like weed out in the front of hotel. We left and went to another hotel.

Found a loaded needle in out room. Place is dirty. They have roaches, mold and mildew everywhere. And whatever you do, DON'T take the stairs
Loaded needle near dresser. My 3 year old god child found it.
Sofa bed was nailed shut.
4th floor window, no screen and windows can be opeded..
