First time in Louisiana. Beautiful state, great people! Upon check in, we went up to our room, and immediately noticed the smell of marijuana from the guests a couple of rooms down. Not the Hotels fault, but if this is an issue in the future, I would definitely request a different room, on a different floor. Upon entering our room I noticed that the smoke detectors were gone/missing. I had a smoking room. I also noticed that some pictures were missing. (You could see the outline where they were.) At checkout I made the clerk write on my receipt these issues, so I wouldn't be charged for them. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, and the Hotel is conveniently located not far from the expressway. Great price as well.

The bed was really comfortable, I would love to have a mattress just as comfortable. The room was clean also, but the bathroom could have used more cleaning. The door had something on it that looked like food and the tub and floor was not clean either. I bought cleaning products and cleaned the bathroom myself. The lobby smelled smoky because people stand right at the front door and smoke and the hall downstairs smelled a bit mildewy...

Hotel conveniently located near restaurants and recreational activities. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and well-kept. The A/C unit was loud and setting the temperature was challenging. The TV remote had to be replaced and the pictures on the TV were not clear, they definite were not High Definition. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Plenty of parking out front. Didn't try the breakfast buffet but it looked good.
