The experience of wandering through a maze of hedges that open into perfectly cultivated gardens plucked complete from other countries and other eras was quite possibly the closest I will ever come to feeling like Alice in Wonderland come to life. You never know what magical sight waits around the next bend in the path.

The room was spacious and clean, air conditioning quiet, staff were nice, and wifi acceptable. The only complaint is there isn’t much parking, there was broken glass behind our car in the morning that we moved so it didnt flatten the tire, and front desk didn’t have change for the laundry so we went to a laundry mat.

The room was large with all the amenities you need. Everything was spotless and our 2 night stay was the best we have had so far. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. You can walk to plenty of bars and restaurants and we find New Zealanders to be very friendly. Highly recommended.

Third time staying here as its very handy to the hospital and town is a short walk. Jetted tub is the way to relax at the end of they day. Staff are friendly, beds very comfy and the rooms have always been spotless.
