Stayed here for a long weekend. Straightforward check in process. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Only thing that let the room down was no tea/coffee making facilities. Due to the hotels location there are quite a few street beggars around outside and it can be quite noisy but this didn’t affect our sleep or stay in the hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice to eat and drink.

The room was quite large as was the bathroom. The wifi was lacking and for some reason the tv wasn’t working well but the staff were friendly and helpful and it was clean.

This hotel is a good hotel as far as cleanliness, good condition and very welcoming staff. No air conditioning so i would not recommend staying here in the summer. We stayed in October and had to open window but still warm in the room. Excellent breakfast and great service. Within 20 min walking distance of Alstadt, shopping and other landmarks. HOWEVER!! A high number of homeless itinerants hanging around just outside hotel and surrounding area 24 hours per day, noisy at all hours of the night and fights breaking out. Police there often. I usually leave in early morning without my husband to go out for a walk or to get get coffee when we travel but i felt very unsafe here and did not leave hotel without him.

Wir waren dieses Mal nur für eine Nacht dort,da wir im Anschluß in den Urlaub geflogen sind. Aber wir kommen immer wieder ins Hotel auch für längere Tage. Uns gefällt es sehr gut 👍

They are renovating the place. Would be nice if they warned us beforehand about that. Now we were awoken by the sound of drills in the early morning. Because of the renovations breakfast was in another hotel at 5 minutes walk. Not cool when its raining. Rooms are very warm and no cooling options except for opening the windows, which brings the arrival of streetnoise. Mind you, that noise is always present. Location sounds good close to the station, but its also the place to be if you are homeless. Reception has a dayjob keeping them away from the doors. So no, no recommendation from us

Too much noise

The building overall is tired. Breakfast is mediocre at best. Worst part is the noise from outside where non-desirables seem to congregate on a daily basis. Associated anti social behaviour included having to oush past drunks sitting on the entrance steps and bottles being thrown early in the morning. Shouting in the early hours and Palastine protests outside during the day. Only benefit is how close the train station is. Stay closer to St Pauli next time. The metro system is fab and will get you anywhere

Excellent location being only a couple of blocks from the main train station and transportation hub for Hamburg. The immediate area outside the hotel is a bit undesirable, although this is not the hotel's fault. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed, the breakfast was nicely done with good variety and a large enough dining area. Good value!

Het personeel van de accommodatie zijn mega vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De buurt waar het hotel zich bevind is niet de meest sjofele omgeving. Veel zwervers (junkies?) Voor de deur. Ook is er een club om de hoek waardoor je, als je aan die zijde een kamer hebt je de gasten hoort (bijna de hele nacht, ook met ramen dicht). De club is gesloten op zondag en maandag. Ontbijt is oke, slaapkamers zijn ruim en schoon. Het gebouw zelf is ook prachtig.

empfehlenswert

Sehr zentral gelegen nahe Hauptbahnhof. Altes, schönes und gut erhaltenes Gebäude mit geräumigen Zimmern. Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Morgens wird ein kleines kontinentales Frühstück angeboten. Für mich einziges Manko: die Vorhänge im Zimmer haben den Raum nicht wirklich verdunkelt, sodass es morgens recht früh hell ist. Ansonsten jedoch durchaus empfehlenswert !!!

Das Hotel.liegt optimal in Bahnhofsnähe. Das Zimmer 323 war sauber, ordentlich und ruhig. Die junge Frau an der Reteption kannte sich anscheinend noch nicht ganz aus und hatte Probleme bei der Abrechnung, trotzdem sehr freundlich! Frühstück sehr gut und reichhaltig! Personal absolut top. Die Umgebung ist im dunklen als Frau etwas unheimlich.
