Amazing hotel, with plenty of space! Loved the room and the size of it! Lots of goodies in the room, gummies, peanuts and drinks- full free minibar! Waterbottles! Amazing service and free goodies for kids and adults to snack and drink. Our fav hotel stay while in Europe!

The elevators are slow and it takes time to get one. Wellness area is very nice and sauna is good. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Stylish hotel near metro station

A nice, newly renovated hotel not far from the main railway station. But don’t walk to/from it as you will pass an area with loads of really scary drug addicts / homeless people, dirty and smelly streets. Do this instead: take a bus or, as we did next morning: walk to the metro station Steinstrasse near by, a much safer way. The minibar in the rooms is free but contains just a few soft drinks, 2 beers and a small package of peanuts. Both the rain shower and the hand held shower were malfunctioning so that water got spread beyond the too short shower wall. The bed is great, the lightning system excellent and the furniture is stylish. Big windows from wall to ceiling. Friendly reception staff. Would stay here again.

I have been to Hamburg a few times, and this hotel always catches my eye. The name is actually special to me. This trip, I decided to spend a few nights here. The stay was amazing. The check in was quick and the receptionist was super helpful with the layout of the hotel. I had help getting my bags to my room, which was more than helpful. I love the mini bar, well stocked. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I loved to wake up and see the city, before heading out for my day. I felt safe the whole time too. It was walkable from the train station and to the city for shopping. Next time I am in Hamburg, I will be sure to book here again.

I have stayed here before and had great experiences. However, the hotel’s restaurant was closed for renovations, and there aren’t many restaurants close by. The neighborhood is sketchy at night. Lots of homeless people. Also, the refrigerator didn’t work when I checked in… and wasn’t repaired. I still like the hotel and the staff, and most likely come back.
