Large clean room with a large en-suite. Friendly staff. Bar staff are great. Bar open from 5pm - 1am but snacks and drinks are available 24/7 opposite reception. Located about a 15 minute walk from city centre. Trains run frequently.

This hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is located in a rough part of town and there is lots of construction between the hotel and the train station making the walk a bit treacherous. The shower in the room was slippery and the temperature controls confusing. The snack bar had decent prices on the food but the water was a rip off.

All staff were very friendly and efficient including reception staff, breakfast staff and the chambermaids. The man on reception who had been at the hotel for 25 years was fantastic and very good at hus job. He answered lots of our questions and made our stay extra special. Breakfast was first class. Would recommend the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay! Everything about the hotel was great. Excellent customer service and the breakfast buffet was really good. Peter was so friendly and attentive to whatever we needed while we ate. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel in the future.

Loved this hotel! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms have a classic style with red carpets and traditional wallpaper. The furniture has seen better days, but it's still solid and perfectly functional. The European-style bathroom was a decent size and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was much appreciated and provided good airflow. The bed was comfortable, and complimentary coffee and tea were provided. The location is nearly ideal. However, the one or two streets leading to the hotel had quite a few people struggling with drug addiction, which made the area feel less secure. I was also disappointed that the nearby restaurants offered very little traditional German cuisine. Instead, there were many Middle Eastern restaurants, making it difficult to find local German food.

The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the central railway station along the road that passes outside the main entrance. My room was very spacious and overlooked a side street so was incredibly quiet for a location so close to the train station. The breakfast was well stocked and offered a good choice for all diets. I would happily stay there again.

good hotel but unfortunately, not in the best area, the area is somewhat run down, closed business and it attracts shady people.. Excellent breakfast, with ;large choice of foods, attentive staff in the breakfast room and reception. Room was small but quiet. Overall a good hotel despite the location.

Nice hotel, good and clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. There are some homeless and drug dealers i the neighborhoods, however you can avoid these areas if you are uncomfortable with this. We had no problems.
