It was about a ten minute walk to the main shopping area which included multiple food outlets. Room was clean and cosy.

A bit too expensive in regard to what you get

Our stay was okay. The bed was a little too hard, and no air conditioning. It is a budget hotel and I would expect it to be a bit cheaper.

Not good

In the toilet, there was lots of urin smell. There is no air conditioner, which means it is not good for the hot summer season. I had good experience at a&o hostel in other cities, such as Cologne and so on, but unfortunately in Hamburg I had the first bad experience.

Great for large groups sharing at a low price.

Me and a group of friends shared a 6 bed dorm for 3 nights. The room was not very big but it had everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable. The USB ports on the beds didn’t seem to work but we just used the power outlets instead so that wasn’t a huge issue. There were lockers in the room which can be used if you bring your own padlock. The bathroom was clean. We did have an issue with a broken toilet seat but we told the front desk and they fixed it immediately without issue. The location is great and it’s easy enough to navigate the city from this location. Overall I think it was great for the price we paid.

They need more staff as I was waiting like 45 minutes to check in due to only one person in counter. Also the laundry does not work which is very inconvenient. There is a young man Taylor in the counter who needs more training as he does not take the time to give the appropriate directions to other places like the laundry.

it’s very noisy if your room is just beside highway. I requested to move after 2 nights. and for the new room I found there was no bath towels and no soap. I requested from reception but unfortunately nobody gave me. breakfast was fair but not deserved. laundry was not good as my clothes still wet after 100 minutes drying. would not recommend.

Es war Günstig, war unser leitspruch im Zimmer. Leider ging die lüftungsanlage in den Bedezimmer sehr lautstark und zu willkürlichen zeiten (auch mitten in der Nacht) an. Die Fenster waren nicht kippbar sonder nur 1 Fester war entweder zu oder komplett auf nutzbar. Es waren kaum Steckdosen vorhenden (2Stück für 6 Personen) dafür aber pro bett 2 USB, die leider nicht alle gut funktionierten. Ansonsten war es eine gute und Solide Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen katastrophalen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Der Check In dauerte allein eine Stunde, das Zimmer war schmutzig (Bettlaken und Kissen voller Flecken, im Badezimmer an den Fliesen waren schwarze Haare etc). Wir haben dieses bei der Rezeption gemeldet, sowie nach einem zweiten Kopfkissen gefragt, leider war niemand mehr vom Hotelservice Personal mehr vor Ort, sodass man uns nicht helfen konnte. Die Lage war sehr nah am Bahnhof, sowie an der Innenstadt, was sehr von Vorteil war, die Nähere Umgebung war nicht sehr einladend. Sehr anonym.

Zu überteuert für das, was geboten wird. Die Betten sind steinhart, die Kissen dafür 30cm dick. Die Wände leider nicht, so habe ich den Aufzügen die ganze Nacht beim rauf und runter fahren lauschen dürfen. Genau wie jedes Gespräch in den drei umliegenden Zimmer jeder Richtung. Das Bad war so klein bzw. verbaut, dass man als durchschnittsgroßer Mensch nicht gerade auf dem Klo sitzen konnte. Dazu durften wir Seifenreste und im Abfluss Haare von vorherigen Besuchern finden (nicht ein oder zwei übersehen…). Insgesamt ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Wasserdruck quasi nicht vorhanden, Abfluss so dicht, dass man in seiner eigenen Brühe steht. Duschkopfhalterung und Schiene am Einstieg lose und kaputt. Der ganze Bau ist super in die Jahre gekommen und schreit dringend nach einer kompletten Modernisierung. Das Personal war mittelmäßig freundlich. Beim Check In konnte der Rezeptionist kein Deutsch (was manch deutsche Besucher in einer deutschen Stadt echt zu schaffen machte) - fließend Englisch aber auch nicht. Weiteres Personal an der Rezeption war entweder genervt und unfreundlich oder heillos überfordert. Das Frühstück (11,90€ pP; Kinder halber Preis) war sehr gut. Überschaubares Buffet mit ausreichend Auswahl (Brötchen, Brot, Wurst, Käse, Joghurt, Pancakes, Eier, Kaffeespezialitäten…). Für teils 90€/Nacht (bereits mit sehr gutem Rabatt gebucht) einfach völligst überteuert. Eine erneute Buchung kommt hier für uns nicht infrage.

Zu lange Wartezeiten an der Rezeption beim Einchecken. Einige Einrichtungen (Aufzüge) sind renovierungsbedürftig. Unübersichtliche Zimmeranordnung. Zu wenig Personal an der Bar und Rezeption. Der Barbereich kann ansprechender gestaltet werden.

Nee, dat war es nicht

Es hat leider eine Ewigkeit beim Check In gedauert. Das Personal war zwar nett, jedoch fachlich völlig überfordert. Wir hätten fast das Musical verpasst, da es so lange gedauert hat. Zimmer war okay, allerdings durfte man nicht zu genau schauen, was die Sauberkeit angeht. Das Waschbecken war gesprungen, die Duschtür defekt. Für eine Nacht insgesamt okay, ich hätte mich aber sehr geärgert, wenn wir dort länger geblieben wären.
