“This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Apart from that, I would definately go back and stay,...

“Initially, the manager of this guest house was helpful and offered to set up the beds as two singles instead of a double, which was better for us. We had to pay £10 extra to check in 1pm instead of 3pm, but at least that helped with our plans for the day. “Rooms are old and have been lived. A lot of rust, broken furniture, bathrooms need a remodel. Hot water yes, very hot, cold water was hard to get as the shower was stuck on hot, almost burned myself. All in all heavily lived. Shops are close, free parking for up to 3 cars. Full kitchen with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer. But again heavily lived. Free WiFi. Beds are not that great. Good for a night or two maximum.”
