“All in all an ok stay. Was let down by a tired bathroom with stains in the bath and poor service at reception. I had to wait quite a while to be checked in as the staff member was missing, and was then sent on a wild goosechase around the rooms in outbuildings only to be told when I returned that the room was indeed in the main building and that he was new and did not know where the rooms are!
Breakfast was excellent.”

“We thought the room was not worth the price. It was a bit shabby and lacked the extras with a room that price.
Early evening we saw two rats outside on our patio.
There was a lack of staff at certain times and this was communicated to us when asking for breakfast.
The bar and gardens were lovely, they were very helpful with our food choices but the Sticky toffee pudding was not to a good standard.”

“Angenehmes willkommen, essen auch für Vegetarier und Veganer verfügbar, sehr gut zubereitet. Zimmer liebevoll einrichtet und sauber. Schöne Terrasse mit Blick aufs Tal. Hierher lohnt sich ein Umweg.
Für einen Tagesausflug nach Bath perfekt gelegen, anschließend ist hier Ruhe und Genuss angesagt.”
