We were staying when Britain had come to a standstill due to the snow. But even with this they went out of their way to make it work for us, had great communication to keep us informed and made us feel very welcome. Thank you. A lovely place with fantastic views, warm, comfy and everything you need.

For someone who lives near a motorway the quietness was great. To wake up in the morning to the sounds of ducks on the lake was exceptional. Carl went out of his way to help us eat the first evening as this was a Sunday and everywhere was busy.

Really nice place to to stay, quiet and comfortable. Great customer service, we needed to check in earlier than the check in time stated so we emailed beforehand and the owners accommodated.

Convenient, clean and tidy resort.

We attended a wedding close by and used the Lake Resort as a stopover. The room was large and very comfortable, quiet, clean and fully equipped.

The hotel staff didn’t come to see us during our stay and key was left in an envelope. The worst bed and mattress EVER! It was sooo soft I couldn’t sleep. Location was nice. So over priced for what we paid. Would not recommend.

Beautiful view.

Unfortunately we arrived late & left early, so really didn’t get to appreciate the area. Lovely deep jacuzzi bath, handy little kitchenette. Beautiful views, parking very near the front. Nice room, very spacious. Can’t fault it, only that we didn’t get enough time there.

Beautiful Lakeside setting

The perfect getaway! A wonderful time, very little light pollution so fantastic starry skies at night and quiet, secluded location. Tea, coffee, fresh milk, toaster, microwave, fridge, cereal, biscuits, knifes and forks, plates, bowls! Immaculately clean and fresh. Couldn't recommend highly enough! We'll be back for sure, can't wait for Summer!
