Hengifoss is the third highest waterfall in Iceland and one of east Iceland's most stunning sights. The hike up takes roughly an hour not far off the ring road.

It is Iceland, but it should be called land of waterfalls. There are so many waterfalls here they are innumerable. I, a lover of waterfalls, have had my fill and I could not be happier!
Waterfalls on top of waterfalls! I climbed on top of the other waterfall to see what was behind it, this is what awaited me. It is so beautiful here. Also, this is the largest forest area in Iceland.
