We had such a wonderful one-night stay at Inn on the Lake! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Our room overlooked the lake, and waking up to that peaceful view was the perfect start to the day. We enjoyed an incredible dinner at the restaurant the evening we arrived, and breakfast the next morning was just as impressive. The Eggs Benedict with the house-made hollandaise sauce was absolutely delicious! One of our favourite moments was taking the complimentary coffee down to the lakeside deck and relaxing in the morning sun. It was so peaceful and made for the perfect end to our little getaway. The Inn itself is beautiful, charming, and impeccably maintained. Every detail made our stay feel special. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend Inn on the Lake to anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside escape!

As it’s still not considered high season, the restaurant was closed on Mondays and snd Tuesdays. They had repackaged muffins and yogurt cups available 24/7 as well as coffee/tea/juice. So we went down to Fall River and ate both mornings at the Good Day Cafe which was excellent. Hotel is slightly dated but clean. We enjoyed our stay very much and will likely return.

This place was a little rustic. Beautiful location on the lake. The home smelled musty. I could not make friends with coffee maker. When it was cool it was very comfortable. When it was warm- upstairs didnt cool much. Queen bed upstairs was very hard. Host was helpful.

Nice small resort-like inn 11 km from airport and near Dartmouth/Halifax. Room are more rustic looking, but decent quality. Many rooms with a balcony. Hotel is situated on a lake, including small beach and a pool. Good restaurant on site. Also grocery store, gas, fast food 5 minute drive. Only disappointment is the room has a small fridge, but does not work. Fre parking on site.
