Ryokans en Hakusan

“We were blown away by how unique the whole experience was and how hospitable the hotel staff was. We were given slippers and traditional robes when we arrived and our luggage was carried to the room for us. Our room was very quaint with a whole tea setup prepared at the table. The dinner was an incredible, elaborate experience that we weren’t expecting. The gardens were beautiful and the hot springs were so relaxing. ”

“Nice staff, great restaurant on site and great location. The hotel is a little dated but very clean and well maintained”

“The staff was impeccable, the room was lovely and peaceful, the food was phenomenal. I felt like a queen here. Gardens and onsen are top notch. Service was perfect. I cannot wait to return!!”

“I really enjoyed my stay at this countryside onsen hotel. They offer a shuttle pickup from the nearby Shinkansen station, but since I had a rental car, I drove myself. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The property conveniently features an EV/Tesla charger, though the rooms still use traditional physical keys instead of keycards - which I actually preferred! Overall, it was a great stay. Out of my 10-day trip across Japan, this place remains one of my favorite memories.”

“Really the trip was spoiled from the first moment by poor management. I arrived around 2pm, was checked in and told my room was ready, but per hotel policy I would have to wait until 3pm to enter. From about 2:30 I noticed a group of women in kimonos lined up straight like soldiers and forced to stand there until close to 3pm, when it became their job to take me to my room. It was giving managerial power trip. Perhaps some guests would appreciate this pomp and circumstance, but I only felt...

“建物は古いかと思ったけれど、部屋はお掃除が行き届いて清潔でした。お風呂は気持ちよかった。 素泊まりでしたが歩いて5分くらいのところに美味しいお店もあり良かったです。”

“Personal muy amable ”

“部屋の鍵が、カードでは無く昔の感じだったので残念。 トイレの鍵がかからなかった。 4階に泊まったのですが、上の階からベランダ横にバシャバシャと水が落ちてきいて、音が少し気になった。 朝食の献立表に書かれているのに、出てない物があった。 ジュース、牛乳等があれば、なお良かった。 大浴場は、広くてとても良かったです。”

“It was a wonderfully unique experience to stay at this Japanese hotel with a private onsen bath in our room. I would recommend staying at least 2 nights as it is in a remote location 40 min from downtown Kanazawa. They have a free shuttle to and from Kanazawa that you need to organize with the hotel. The multi-course Japanese breakfast in a private room was a treat. The staff was very responsive and helpful despite not speaking much English. We had to make quite a few changes and they were quite...

“The property is very far away from any bus or train station. If you don’t have a way of transport don’t go there. The staff is super friendly and helpful.”

“No era lo que yo esperaba,”

“Hotel staff is passionated and their dining is high quality. Nothing much nearby so stay in the hotel to enjoy their program and facility”

“大浴場は、とてもキレイにしてありました。 食事は、夕食、朝食ともに満足でした。”

“接客、食事共に最高でした！ 静かでのんびり過ごすことができました。”
