Great lodging in a fantastic location!

A very lovely location! Had all necessary amenities and was extremely clean and cozy. Conveniently located next to the trail leading to the gorgeous local shrines and the sky tram. Extra points for the bus stop being right outside the Villa! :) would 100% definitely stay again.

We loved everything about this place except that we couldn’t stay longer. We were so impressed with how comfortable and clean it was. The layout is roomy and there’s a place for everything. I would definitely stay here again if I return.

All condition of room is good, and also larger than what i expected. the only bad is the location, you will difficult to find convenient shop or restaurant if after 6 pm, may need to go other place by own transport

Awesome lake view

Awesome location, spacious, right off the lake. Clean. Calm. Walls are thin so you can hear next door guests prepare scrambled eggs for their babies. Other than that, it was great. This property is meant for guests driving in town. However if you take the correct bus at Odawara station, the bus get you right outside of the property. There’s no convenient store within walking distance. This could work for the public transport guests, just have to plan ahead. Overall, we had a great time. Thank you.

The property and the rooms are lovely. The location is pretty and very quiet. There is, unfortunately, almost nothing there. No stores and few restaurants (with bizarre limited hours of operation). During the middle of the day it is no problem as the pirate ship dock and the gondola are right there (and a gift shop, and a restaurant for breakfast and lunch- not open for supper sadly). Evenings are a nightmare if you don’t have food with you and you did not come by car. Heads up: the beds are comfortable but the futons in the loft are like sleeping on the floor… Fine for skinny people and kids. If you’re an adult and if you’re more plus-sizes, you will be in pain. Stick with the beds. We would ABSOLUTELY stay there again. We enjoyed our stay. We would stay more days next time and explore Gora (over the mountain via gondola and down the funicular) and some other areas. And we would come prepared with food! Travel Tip for swimmers: you are not allowed to swim in the lake. Apparently the Japanese think it is too cold. (They need to meet more Vikings and Canadians… We love a cold plunge!)

The air con break down causing the room to be either too stuffy or needed to open the window making the room to cold. Requested to change room but was rejected. No refund or discount was given and the customer service is terrible. Worst experiences!

Nestled in the forest it is walking distance to the lake and some local restaurants. Overall great place to stay. Big room with great amenities, very clean, and would stay here again. My kids loved it and we were pretty central to everything.

This is a gateway from the world where you can relax in comfort. Hiking trails in the area are beautiful, and the walk near the Lake Ashi is nice. The restaurants in the neighborhood keep inconsistent hours but this may have been due to the holiday. You must travel to the other side of the lake to access markets and groceries, but transportation is convenient in the morning and afternoon not at night.
