The staff were all excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The views and scenery around the hotel are also stunning however the hotel itself is quite dated and while the food was really good, it was the most expensive we had in Japan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Great views of the lake and Fuji. The lift to the top of Mt. Hakone was an easy walk, and the hotel offers frequent buses to the town and Odawara station. The room was cool and well kept, and we enjoyed the restaurant and unique architecture.

Spacious room, very dated and in need for refurbishment. Very limited dining options, very expensive especially for children. Staff are great and very attentive. Shuttle service infrequent and no taxi options early morning. Onsen was good, very clean and great views from outdoor bath.

One off the most breath-taking hotel a i’ve ever been. On Ashinoko’s Lake shores, this hotel has three restaurantes, two onsen bath ( outside inside ). Personal way very nice and kind, they took our luggage since se approva bestie the hotel and they even brought them to our room. Only one thing, there’s nothing outside the hotel and everything closes by 17pm ( even transport ).

A beautiful property on Lake Ashinoko with stunning views of Mt Fuji. Extremely close to the rope-way that takes you up to the shrine on the mountain with even more breathtaking views. Lovely rooms, helpful staff. Dining options are limited to the hotel as it is too remote to get anywhere else. Nice outdoor onsen

Really loved our stay here, property had a lot to offer. It was a bit quiet and just off the season start but we really enjoyed the walk around the lake, the transportation to town, hot springs, proximity to the cable car, great staff, nice view from room. All around great stay!
