This place was great for my family and I. They loved the private onsen and overall it was mostly clean. The only downside was the mold on the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom. But other than that, we loved it here.

Really great furnishings. We enjoyed the indoor onsen, which was already on for us at the right temperature when we arrived. The property has a manual in English which allowed us to understand how to operate all of the major appliances like the microwave oven and the washer / dryer. The check-in process was the most involved of any property we stayed in in Japan.

Fabulous location and property with a private onsen. If you are looking for a private onsen option that allows you to onset with your family members, this is great. The property was a great size and was far larger than any hotel options that we looked at in a similar category for the region. Clean, and comfortable. It is a little walk away from a convenience store (10 mins), and a bus ride away from most food options. However, it is on several bus routes and was close to attractions in the area. Highly recommend. They do not allow late check out or baggage storage.

Super nice place. Like one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. 10/10 on the actual unit and amenities. But. The communication with the company was a challenge. The confirmation email they send comes from a non-functioning email. The message function on Expedia isn’t answered in a timely manner. And they are completely inflexible with early check-ins. So even though our room was clean and ready, we were forced to sit on the ground outside of the room until exactly 3pm. The bus drops you on the side of a mountain road. With our bags. So we didn’t really have a choice. It would have been nice for them to have some flexibility (we would have happily paid more for the early check-in) or at least have a way to get in touch with the company with a timely response to clarify the zero flexibility. If you come here, don’t show up even 1 minute early. And ideally come with a car. It’s possible on public transport but it was… alarming to just be dropped on the side of a busy mountain road.

Great amenities, spacious villa with a private onsen bath. If I had one criticism, the main bathroom had a musty, wet rag odor indicating possible mold/mildew growth. Suggest management use bleach solution or a power jet washer to thoroughly clean the bathroom areas. Other than that, family had a good stay and u recommend this property.

Big villa, but could be hard to find. Long walk to parking (2 block), and several steps outside the door made it very hard with big luggages. Amenities very new. Though steps are big and could be hard to climb. Dryer doesn’t work very well.

Excellent location, lovely villa, private, new and very clean, comfortable bedding. Onsen is awesome, relax your body after a long day. Parking is convenient once you locate it. Kids enjoyed the loft. Highly recommend for peace/quiet from city hustle.

The place is very nice. Quiet, onsen, kitchen, rooms, it is the entire apartment. Clean, easy to check in even though its self check in. Just print all your instructions. Now, even with the kitchen, there isnt too much of a option to get food to cook. ImBus to get there can be confusing for foreign visitors but once you figure it out, it is easy. Really enjoyed Hakone and this place made it even more enjoyable.

Great place for a large group or family. Bus stop is right outside, convenience store one bus stop away. It is further away from the touristy areas, but that was what we wanted. Private indoor/outdoor onsen is a plus. They provide all the basics needed for everyday hygiene, and cooking. We definitely enjoyed our stay.
