Had a great 1 night stay with the wife and 2 teenagers in a Premier Deluxe Japanese Western room. Booked this as the one expensive special treat night for this trip. Room was clean, in excellent condition, very spacious and looked just like the photos on the website. The room having its own outdoor private onsen bath was fabulous. Dinner was excellent with every course looking and tasting amazing. Breakfast was also good with lots of options for the buffet. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights at the property and overall the experience was good, but nothing overwhelming and also not a traditional ryokan experience. The onsen is very basic and fixed evening meal felt the same over the two nights with western fusion theme (note that it is not a Kaiseki meal, so it can be interpreted as being slightly expensive). Breakfast had a good variety. Shuttle bus was helpful but book in advance as slots can go quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful.
