This was a fantastic place. The room I had was spectacular & that view was gorgeous! Whenever I go back to Japan, I'm definitely coming back here & would like to stay an extra day as the place was great & Hakone as a whole is beautiful.

We chose the traditional room and half board(dinner and breakfast included). The hotel is with very nice service and good open-air bath, the view is breathtaking. The half board is highly recommended! Try Japanese traditional food in a private dining room. After we finished the dinner, the night bed is set up for us when we went back the room, how warm that is!

This Ryokan was outstanding. It was peaceful and stylish while also feeling authentic and very Japanese. We loved the private hot spring bath on our balcony and really enjoyed dressing in kimonos for dinner. I highly recommend this Ryokan
