This was a wonderful place to stay. Nothing can beat a private balcony Onsen/hot tub with ocean views, and the hills as well. The breakfast buffet was outstanding as well.

This is an amazing place to stay. My Wife and I stayed here when we visited Hakodate 2 years ago and we couldn’t wait to return. Every single member of the staff is kind, hard working, and helpful, they’re top notch all around. The room was very comfortable and the private onsen for our room was really relaxing. If you do a little walking there are also places to go to eat and even a great little brewery called Endeavour pretty close by. We can’t wait to stay here again the next time we’re in Hakodate.

Excellent onsen, good variety for both dinner and breakfast buffet. The only drawback for this hotel is far from the main tourist sites, not near train station but can be reached by bus.

Its pleasantly large room. Nice design though I wouldnt say it was worth the rate we paid. I've been to pther ryokan with same price with private onsen. But overall it was pleasant. Good staff service.

Staff, onsen, restaurant was excellent. However, my very expensive room witj a peivate onsen did not have air conditioning which was upsetting given the price I paid for that room. But the private onsen itself, was awesome.

The extra mile of service to have my bags that i pre-stored with them (prior to check in timing)within the room when i check in, that leaves a great impression of how the people are providing a great service!

Private onsen was amazing. Great buffet breakfast with lots of food choices. However the bed mattress isn’t very comfortable. I feel I needed the onsen to undo the soreness of my back after I woke up. Was that intentional? If the hotel can get better mattresses, it would be a solid product.

Honest staff provide great service. Although their spoken English is not good, they deliver the best. i have left a valuable behind and asked for help, they have post me back by parcel even during a busy period. Also the hot spring is perfect. Will definitely go again
