I enjoy the stay here and will definitely come back next time I visit Hakodate. It is super conveniently located near Hakodate station and supermarket and many restaurants. Very clean and great for solo travelers.

It is what it is, a very practical, clean, safe and tiny place to rest. Nothing more and nothing less. It does not pretend to be anything else other than what it is and that is the point! So, if you are ok with this and need a very practical, clean, safe and tiny place to rest, this is the place for you. I came to Hakodate to walk around and experience the place all day long, not to sit in a room or to admire a fancy hotel lobby and take selfies. For me, it was a perfect fit.

A small, modern space for a very small price. I really loved the coziness of this space, although using the bathroom sink was a bit awkward at first. This room is for sleeping in and cleaning yourself up, and the price reflects it. It's very modern and was located conveniently from the station, drugstore, bars, etc. I'll definitely return.

Very good location, easily walkable from the station and the fish market. The room was so tiny. Not just tiny, but also not very well-thought. I've seen the same size room utilized so much better at other establishments. It felt as though guest comfort is really the last thing on their mind in terms of how they set up the room Positive standouts -Staff was actually nice. They didn't hesitate to hold our bags just for half an hour - some demonstrated sustainability mindset, like reusable bags for towel refills (many chains use plastic bags for that) and paper containers for toothpaste. - working AC Negatives -Desk not wide enough to realistically put a laptop to work on - not enough clothes hanging space. 4 hangers insufficient for a four night stay. Forget closets. - Two of the precious hooks were used for w Fabreeze and shoe polishing equipment. Not sure if they are really high demand amenities, but even so, I've seen them stowed more efficiently elsewhere. - Absolutely no storage space in the bathroom. Not even a towel hook. The only spot (toilet tank) is half taken by spare TP - No liquid hand soap in room (no space for it). No bar soap provided as amenities either. We reached over the bathtub to use the wall-mounted body wash, wondering the antibacterial qualities. - A large nail stuck underneath the bed, sharp side down,and damaged our suitcase. Luckily we had hard shell but it'd have ruined a soft case. Maybe a larger room would have fixed some of these issues.

Room gets cleaned every 3 days, and everything was always super spotless; and there’s loads of free amenities at the 2nd floor front desk area. The Japanese front desk, and housekeeping staff were always professional, kind, and helpful. Very conveniently located too! About 2 blocks from Hakodate station - about a 5 minute walk. 5 mins to the seafood market - which is right next to the station. And a nice 15 min walk to the old warehouse district, and the Mashu-maru ship museum. The walk up to the street with the cable car is gradual from the old warehouse area. If you go straight up from the Main Street, it’s much more steep to the cable car! Learn from my mistakes. 😅 Lots of convenience stores and restaurants within a minute or two walk as well. It was so nice relaxing, I even extended my stay a few times. I will stay here again in the summer, to see the area with more sunlight, and foliage. Thank you!

The hotel is new and clean, and I think this hotel is basically targeting at single traveler so there're lots of single room in the hotel. However, the hotel is thoughtful enough to help arrange same group travelers to stay on the same floor and closed to each others. The room is small but big enough for single person and a big suitcase, the bed and pillows are comfy. The only thing I do not like is the space of the bathroom, it's really way too small and easily to get everything so wet in the bathroom. The location is good as well, and it's walking distance from the Hakodate train station (around 10 mins). And there's lots of dining options nearby, and a big super market as well. Very convenient, highly recommend to travelers. And one more plus point, most of the staffs know how to communicate in English.

Pleasant hotel, but don't get the breakfast!

The hotel it self is alright, snd although it's a bit far from the center of the city, it is located right next to the lovely Daimon Yokocho. The room was clean and the staff was friendly enough. Even though the room was big enough, the batroom was really small. I had to keep the door open to fit on the toilet, and even then I was pushed up against the wall. My stay at the hotel was pleasant enough for one night. However I would NOT recommend buying the breakfasts buffet. The food was extremely bland and there was almost no food to sellect from.

Pretty central, not far from the JR rail station and the tram line, and there's a good supermarket almost next door. The amenities are very recently installed, so all very tidy, modern, clean and in good working order. The vista (street view) from the window was better than what I usually get at other Japanese hotels, often just a wall from an adjacent building. The laundry machines can't handle several kilos, so it took some cycles to get them properly dry, several trips from my room to the laundry. The breakfast of egg, potato salad and garnishings is minimalist and the dining area a bit cavernous, but there's plenty of toast if one wants to make more. The breakfast lady in charge is a bit huffy, being alone to handle everyone, so I forgive her, since I myself had to fend for myself at work in my younger years. I also needed an early cab for an early flight, so I had the front desk book it days ahead. The desk clerk by the name Hoshimoto was very helpful in that request, anticipating my needs, speaking good English, taking note that I would be away for 2 days in Furano and then returning for 1 more night at this very same hotel. To my pleasant surprise when back from Furano, he remembered details of my request as the day of the cab neared. Overall, a good hotel if you want a basic, fuss-free, clean place near the JR station.
