The twin bedroom was spacious, clean and well kept, it was very affordable too. Thumbs up for the breakfast spread, it was delicious! The hotel staffs were friendly and attentive, wonderful management! I felt comfortable during my stay at comfort hotel.

This hotel is a short walk from Hakodate station. The staff were friendly and the breakfast had good variety. The downside is that we found the mattress to be on the hard side which made for a less comfortable night's sleep. Would also be great if an extra pillow was provided. The pillow that was provided did not provide much cushion/support. The room itself was spacious.

The breakfast is excellent for the price of the stay. Staff are very friendly and have a good command of English. There is a nice kaiten sushi next to the hotel that I would recommend.

Stayed for one night as a stopover between Hokkaido and Tokyo. I had a corner twin room on the top floor, which was very spacious and quiet. The location is excellent—easy access to everything. I didn’t need to take any transportation during my stay and was able to walk everywhere, even as far as Motomachi. You can even see the JR station from the top floor hallway window. Perfect for a short, convenient stay in Hakodate.

Clean + cheap = great!

Lots of hotels in the area, so I'm guessing this hotel is trying its best to remain competitive. The overall stay was great for its price. Lots of amenities available upon request, and the rooms are impeccably clean. Welcome drinks available for you to self-serve, and the breakfast seemed decent although I did not have them. The hotel seems to be a great choice as long as the price remains favourable compared to others closeby.

Convenient Hotel across Hakodate JR station

The hotel was conveniently situated across the Hakodate JR station. The hotel is also adjacent to the tram station at the Hakodate JR station, so that made it easy to get around the city. It was also possible to walk to the morning market and several nearby ramen and izakaya joints, making the hotel very central. The hotel also provided complimentary breakfast, which was appreciated. There was a wide variety of dishes available, including both Japanese and western. It could get busy during peak times. The free beverage station for coffee and hot water and cold water from 1400 to 2400 was also a great plus. The room itself was standard in terms of size for Japan. It was comfortable but I did not enjoy the bed. The bed seemed to not give me enough support for my back and the pillow didn't give me enough support for my neck. I usually don't write about the bed but I found it hard to sleep. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful The location of the hotel is super convenient and would recommend to people who are not as picky as me about beds.
