This hotel is a short walk from Hakodate station. The staff were friendly and the breakfast had good variety. The downside is that we found the mattress to be on the hard side which made for a less comfortable night's sleep. Would also be great if an extra pillow was provided. The pillow that was provided did not provide much cushion/support. The room itself was spacious.

The twin bedroom was spacious, clean and well kept, it was very affordable too. Thumbs up for the breakfast spread, it was delicious! The hotel staffs were friendly and attentive, wonderful management! I felt comfortable during my stay at comfort hotel.

Great location and affordable

Great location. You can see Hakodate JR station as well as Morning market. Not even a minute walk. Check in took less than three minutes and clerk was efficient and got job done professionally. You may pick up night gown, razor, bathroom amenities if you need to. I had free breakfast every day. I read some complaints about it. Look, this is ' bijiho ', that's what Japanese called. Business hotel not Westin or Mandarin oriental. I ate little bit different every morning for 4 days. I enjoyed their breakfast. If you like Japanese type breakfast, please look somewhere else. Room was bit small but then again this is ' bijiho '. They got everything I need during my stay. Everything was clean and laundered. I didn't smell any bleach. You know you get overwhelmed by that smell at some hotel, motel. I didn't turn on TV so I can't comment on that. Air purifier is a nice touch. There is smoking room inside building? I saw the sign. I can't believe this is allowed. Overall my sray was great, I will sray again.

部屋の中の設備はシンプルだが不便さはない。ただ、ユニットバスはかなり狭く、つかるには窮屈。シャワーには問題ない。 価格の割に広く開放感があり（ツイン）椅子２つにテーブルもあるので、近所で酒やつまみを仕入れての部屋飲みも快適。ちなみにセブンイレブン徒歩1分。 チェックイン前・後の荷物預けもスタッフの察しがいいのでもたつかず、笑顔で気持ちよく接してもらえた。 無料のバイキング朝食、頻繁に補充等をしていて、生野菜なんかは常にシャキッとしていた。品数は多くはないがどれもおいしい。 リピあり。

Stayed for one night as a stopover between Hokkaido and Tokyo. I had a corner twin room on the top floor, which was very spacious and quiet. The location is excellent—easy access to everything. I didn’t need to take any transportation during my stay and was able to walk everywhere, even as far as Motomachi. You can even see the JR station from the top floor hallway window. Perfect for a short, convenient stay in Hakodate.

函館駅の目の前、市電の停留所も目の前、朝市にも5分と掛からずの位置にあって凄く便利でした。ウェルカムドリンクも嬉しかった。朝食も美味しかった。強いて言えば、アメニティがもう少し充実していれば⭐︎5になるんだけどなぁと。スタッフさんも親切で良かったです。次もお願いしようと思います。

Convenient Hotel across Hakodate JR station

The hotel was conveniently situated across the Hakodate JR station. The hotel is also adjacent to the tram station at the Hakodate JR station, so that made it easy to get around the city. It was also possible to walk to the morning market and several nearby ramen and izakaya joints, making the hotel very central. The hotel also provided complimentary breakfast, which was appreciated. There was a wide variety of dishes available, including both Japanese and western. It could get busy during peak times. The free beverage station for coffee and hot water and cold water from 1400 to 2400 was also a great plus. The room itself was standard in terms of size for Japan. It was comfortable but I did not enjoy the bed. The bed seemed to not give me enough support for my back and the pillow didn't give me enough support for my neck. I usually don't write about the bed but I found it hard to sleep. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful The location of the hotel is super convenient and would recommend to people who are not as picky as me about beds.
