Hotel Norden, Haderslev – Overpriced and Disappoin

My stay at Hotel Norden was nothing short of disappointing, and I would strongly advise against booking this hotel. Breakfast – A Complete Letdown For the price they charge, the breakfast selection is extremely poor. On Monday, January 27, 2025, it was even worse than usual—by far the most inadequate breakfast I have encountered in all my travels. There was barely anything to choose from, making it a complete waste of money. Dinner – Below Average at Best The dinner quality is mediocre at best and certainly not worth the price. If I had to rate it, I would give it a 1/10. Rooms & Bathrooms – Small, Outdated, and Unpleasant The rooms are small, outdated, and have an unpleasant smell. The same goes for the bathrooms, which are cramped and in dire need of renovation. Overall Experience – A Greedy and Mismanaged Hotel While the staff tries to be polite and accommodating, it is clear that the owners prioritize profit over guest satisfaction. There is no reception service after 14:00–15:00, which is highly inconvenient. At check-in, we received an email with a PIN code for entry. However, our room keys and names were simply left in an envelope at the reception desk—a serious GDPR violation that raises concerns about privacy and security. Hidden Fees & Currency Exchange Scam To make matters worse, if you pay by card, the hotel applies an unfair exchange rate of 1 EUR to 7 DKK, whereas banks offer rates between 7.4 an

Forlængerledningsdåse hang på bordet og var beskidt. Manglende knager, korte skabe, ingen afsætningsmuligheder på badeværelset. Sjusket renovering generelt. Manglende og dårlig information ved ankomst. Information fik vi af tjener sød og kompetent ,den sidste aften. Vi fik værelser på håndværkergangen og ingen rabat, vi havde set man kunne få 25 % rabat pga. renovering, men det blev blankt afvist.

Hotel med flot beliggenhed

Det er et hotel med en fantastisk beliggenhed og en rigtig god service. De er søde og imødekommende, men værelset vi var på var desværre noget slidt. Sengene er færdige og man synker helt i bund når man sætter sig. Så søvn fik vi ikke en masse af. Morgenmaden fulgte med i prisen, men den kan vi ikke sige så meget om for vi spiste der ikke, da vi skulle til brunch et andet sted i forbindelse med en begivenhed. Prisen er for høj i forhold til standen. Vi håber de får opgraderet værelserne, så de passer lidt bedre til prisen..Men vi hyggede os trods alt, imens vi var der..😃

Vi havde nogle rigtig fine dage. Meget behageligt personale. Det kunne ikke være bedre. Vi undre os dog over, at vi skulle betale for 5 x parkering i to dage, hvor vi kun brugte 2 pladser til 5 motorcykler. Dvs kr. 450,- oven i prisen på opholdet, som i forvejen nok er lidt i den dyre ende.
