The photographs for this accommodation show a large outdoor pool on the sea front. This is not in the Aparthotel grounds, it is a publicly available lido about 20 yards along from the hotel the other side of a busy road. It's free to use for occupants of the hotel and apartments but when we were there in early June 2026 it was absolutely packed. The pool is only open from 10 to 6 as it is also a restaurant outside these hours.
The description doesn't tell you that the hotel itself has a spa with a small outdoor pool on the roof of the hotel, this was free to use and a very pleasant area with sunbeds and parasols, a bar, and spectacular views, and was not noisy or over-busy.
Our apartment was cleaned well but a bit "tired". There was a tear in one of the sofas, a patch of uneven floor tiles, and the bathroom was quite scruffy. On the upside, the beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well and the view from the balcony was fantastic. The entrance to the apartment was a very short walk from the entrance to the hotel.
The name of the hotel in large letters on the side of the building is shown as Bayview Hotel, not Valletta View, which confused us when our taxi driver was trying to drop us off.
The situation is great, right on the promanade with countless bars and restaurants within a short walk and a 10 minute walk to the Valletta ferry. We really enjoyed our stay despite the negatives I have mentioned.
