We had a good stay at Bayview and the room was clean. Although we were a bit disappointed that the pictures shown of the pool were of another place. We felt that this was misleading. The staff were helpful though. The lifts definitely need updating, they take forever to come and don’t register the correct priority when called. Other than that it’s a pleasant 3 star hotel.

Excellent breakfast and clean rooms, that’s about it. Our bathroom has a shower door that didn’t close properly so water flooded the bathroom everytime one of us took a shower. The AC does not work overnight and it’s centrally controlled despite them telling you otherwise. The pool pictures are NOT the pools you’ll have access to. Rooftop pool barely fits 5 people. Hot tub jets don’t work. The sauna was not operational at the time of our stay. Absolute nightmare checking-in. Waited half an hour beyond the check-in time to be accommodated as we kept being pushed to the side by the staff. We complained through Expedia, which essentially did not resolve any issue with our booking. Malta’s a beautiful country to see, would I come back? Yes! Would I stay at Bayview ST hotels again? Absolutely the not! We are beyond upset at this point with the lack of responses from the staff and expedia that it ruined our vacation.

A very good hotel

Very good hotel in a central area for transport and travel around the island. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in all aspects of our stay. I would certainly recommend this to anyone and will plan to stay here again. The general manager took time to chat with guests at breakfast to ensure any issues could be resolved.

Excellently located (10 mins to ferry) £10 uber to Airport and less to Valleta old town. Amazing views across the harbour from our seaview room (512). The room was clean and had what we needed for a short weekend stay. Good breakfast. Nice bar area. Rooftop pools could do with some attention (tiling mainly) but you can access the gorgeous Aqualuna complex opposite. Only strange one for us was the daily after 3pm cleaning of the room which was quite inconvenient given we'd been out all day!
