Good location! Not actually in Sliema but close enough. Located near lots of bars Ave restaurants and can take the ferry to lots of places including gozo and that’s right across the street. The pool in the pics is the pool club across the street. It’s super nice but crowded because others can visit not just hotel guests. The family room was good for us. The elevators were having issues the entire time but luckily we were on the 1st floor. Overall I would recommend but def not what I expected from the photos. We did have a great view from our room.

Great location and comfortable stay The location of 115 The Strand Hotel is fantastic, and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms were kept clean, which was a positive. However, we did have some issues with the air conditioning, including a leak, and there were signs of damp and mould, which was disappointing. If natural daylight is important to you, I’d recommend booking a balcony room which is lovely but we also had one of the standard rooms it had no natural light at all, just a concrete wall outside the window. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of options. The front-of-house team were lovely and welcoming, although the restaurant staff weren’t particularly pleasant overall. Only two members of the restaurant team were genuinely engaging and friendly. Overall, the hotel has a fantastic location, comfortable beds and clean rooms, but the air-conditioning, damp/mould issues and lack of natural light in some standard rooms are worth considering when booking.

Absolutely lovely hotel the staff were amazing, the rooms were cleaned every day. The outdoor pool was brilliant we loved having access to this daily if we wanted. The welcome drink on the roof top bar was a lovely treat and the views were amazing. The rooms were so lovely & the sea view was great would definitely stayed again, thanks so much

Best thing was the view of the water and Valetta The room was clean but extremely small. The air con could not be adjusted so it would get cold to leave it on at night but the room would heat up as soon as you turned it off. The hotel didn’t have its own pool, but shared the public pool across the road which the hotel offered for free if you were lucky enough to get a lounge and umbrella. Breakfast was very average. A bit expensive overall.

This hotel is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and the surrounding area. This hotel had many restaurant options right out the front door or within a short walk and a grocery store across the street. The location is perfect for waterfront cruises and bus tours. They offer a breakfast buffet that gets you started for the day.

Great location, but disappointing value for money ​We stayed at Hotel 115 in rooms 205 and 206 (2 adults and 3 children from August 3rd to 8th, paying over €1,400). Given the price, we honestly expected much more. ​Unfortunately, both rooms were poorly ventilated: while there are windows, they only open onto internal light wells, and the bathrooms have no windows at all. Room 205 had a persistent mold smell; we reported it to the staff, but no solution was offered. In room 206, the fridge didn't seem to work, so we had to use the one in room 205. ​On the positive side, the hotel has an excellent location and a lovely swimming pool, although it is often quite crowded. Breakfast was ok, and dinner at the partner restaurant (Trattoria Grana) was good, especially their pizzas. ​Overall, I would not recommend it. The great location doesn't make up for the lack of proper ventilation, poor room maintenance, and unhelpful customer service regarding reported issues.
