This was a great and unique experience. The washroom was simple but clean. It seemed like a relatively newly renovated location with a small divider between the shower area toilet so upon showering, not the full washroom was wet. They were able to store my luggage when I arrived into the city early and were very helpful in showing me my accomodation and explaining what is available through the hotel. The entire hotel was beautiful, especially at night.

A great location within walking distance of historical sites in Gyeongju. Staying here made the experience even better. The staff are great and welcoming. Sleeping on a heated floor was a first for me. It won't be my last - I felt like I was sleeping on a full length heating pad - wonderful after a long day of walking!

Vey well located hanok hotel in Gyeongju to visit the different landmarks. The room was comfortable and clean. We received new bath towels and water bottle in the morning (2 night stay).

We enjoyed it!

Very nice hotel in a very good area, a little bit far from the station but with the Korean public transportation being very efficient is not going to be a problem to reach the location. The whole establishment is amazing and the STAFF is friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate we book again if back in Gyeongju for the great experience!

A opportunity for a traditional stay

A great experience to stay in a traditional Hanok House. We did choose the bed option but the space was wonderful as we had two spaces plus a bathroom. We had everything we needed and fresh towels were provided daily. They also offer free Hanbok rentals but we didnt get time to use this.

A great traditional vibe!

It is a really traditional hotel. Beautiful garden and excellent location. To get a 10/10 I would advice the following: have some stuff to be able to seat while waiting/resting in room, have a look into what machine is there outside that goes on and off al night long, and remove the dust well from the slicing doors.

Beautiful Hanok but only from the outside especially the night you will make nice pictures! Room Onden was clean, simple and small but I knew it before booking so thats ok. Only problem was this is not a real shower but just a shower handle who goes directly to the floor so if you shower the water will go everywhere on the floor and on the toilet. Except that great location close to many cute shops and coffee..

Traditional but Uncomforatable

It might be unfair to criticize a hotel for offering traditional levels of Korean comfort--it provides what it says it will--but what I've learned from this stay is that the traditional way of sleeping in Korea is uncomfortable. Sleeping on a thin futon on a rock hard (though heated) floor is not something I want to do again. The tiny rooms are uninteresting and feel like prison cells (anachronistically there is a small TV in the room). Bathroom is extremely basic. The buildings are pretty from the outside, but only from the outside. For the price, one could stay with much greater comfort almost anywhere else in Korea. Staff are nice.
