The breakfast box is such a great idea, allowing you to eat in or take it with you if you are heading for an early start. “Really comfy bed and room which was immaculate including a little note from housekeeping saying enjoy your stay! A lovely touch! Breakfast and my evening meal were absolutely delicious . All staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the chef (with the jack russell puppy) who made the most amazing breakfast! The shower was powerful and the toiletries provided were of great quality.”

“Stunning location, right by the river - lovely views from bedroom and breakfast room. Easy, flexible check-in which was very helpful and breakfast was delicious. There is a lovely pub close by, about a 5 minute walk that did great food and nice wine. Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in...

“The best part was the breakfast, very good and very polite individual. The room was cold, no hot water to shower, no one around to solve the issue. All in house amenities not in use. No bar. No service, no contact. It's 2 miles from town, so taxi us essential. It's the sort of place that picture perfect... But you'll only go once. Sorry for the bad review, almost recovered by the polite service and lovely breakfast.”
