Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay. “Ideal for Chepstow racecourse. Not much else about the area without walking or taxis. On checki the weirdest thing happened they wouldn’t take payment and told me was a,ready paid for. Rooms we had were small but the bed was comfy. Rooms ok some could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast is ok I’m fussy about food so didn’t eat a lot just toast and coffee but the others in my party had the full English not so sure about paying extra for an extra sausage etc. hotel was very noisy on the Saturday...
