“really friendly and accommodating staff. our only issue with our stay was that owing to very hot weather we needed to sleep with the window open to allow cool air to come in off the river. this meant being woken up super early by traffic”

“The accommodation was great, with a separate living/kitchenette area, It was well equipped and comfortable. The garden was also lovely. The only negative was loud knocking sounds from the plumbing in the neighbouring room which seemed to happen whenever the occupant used any water but hopefully this may be easily remedied. The location suited my travel needs and was a good place to stay - thanks.”

“This is a great location for exploring Norfolk. We were only there one night but it was peaceful and accommodated all 3 of us with our dog. The owner was excellent with her communication but not at all intrusive. Nice touches like our own private garden with a BBQ where they kindly left some coals so we had the option to use it.”

I was also a little sceptical when I saw Belle Vue’s exceptionally high rating, but after staying there, I completely understand it. The guest house really was exceptional. The décor was stylish, the bed and furniture were very comfortable, and the location and grounds were lovely. The owner was friendly, accommodating, and flexible, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and felt it offered...

“Easy to find Hotel. Parking was great. Co-op supermarket very handy next to Hotel. Beds were comfortable. Good value for money. Would recommend”

“Receptionist was welcoming and efficient at checking me in quickly. Room was clean comfortable albeit a little hot even with the window open. There was a fan in the wardrobe to use as well. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. For the price this was a gem of a find in the centre of Peterborough. I’d stay there again”
