Excellent Hotel. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the staff were super polite. They even changed the room for us at our request as we were originally in a smoking room. The breakfast was exceptional, so much variety. I highly recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights and our stay was very comfortable. We had breakfast included in the package so starting the day was a breeze with a good spread of buffet breakfast. My recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in the Golf Course Road area of Gurugram was nothing short of excellent. From the moment of arrival, the check-in process was seamless, with the staff ensuring a warm welcome and a swift, efficient experience. The room was immaculately maintained, featuring a modern yet inviting design that enhanced overall comfort. The bed was exceptionally plush, allowing for a restful night’s sleep, and housekeeping services were prompt and thorough, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. The hotel’s location offers convenient access to key areas in Gurugram, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. Additionally, the service quality stood out—especially when I accidentally left some personal belongings in my room after check-out. The hotel staff responded immediately, securing my items and promptly reaching out to ensure their safe return. I checked in around midnight on the 23rd and checked out on the 25th. The property was good; the facilities were neat. The staff was very courteous too. I paid for dinner and breakfast in my reservation, and the front desk staff were nice to extend the credit to in-room dining. But! Two aspects (maybe three) of my visit turned the whole experience into something terrible! 1.) The night we checked in, we ordered a meal for in-room dining. One of the curries we ordered was stale! We could easily sense that it had been kept out for a long time and could not be consumed. We returned it and ordered a lentil soup instead. 2.) In the room we stayed in, I noticed a cockroach! The hotel must really revise its disinfestation protocols! 3.) The breakfast spread was very good; varied cuisine representing North Indian and South Indian options, breads, eggs, etc AND quite tasty too! Options to choose from 4-5 drinks - juices, shakes, etc. As I was jet-lagged, when I wanted to have coffee before the breakfast was ready, the staff were gracious. BUT! The drinks in breakfast weren’t chilled! I mention this exceptionally, because The day I checked out, I had a bad case of gastro-infection. I luckily found a good doctor who did a good diagnosis and treatment, but I suffered for two days of my family vacation. This is quite disappointing for a hotel of this standard, and I am certain that the reason for my getting ill was the food at the hotel, because I didn’t consume anything outside

Upon arrival at the hotel, the TV in my room was not working. Although it was temporarily repaired by maintenance, it stopped working again the following morning. At breakfast, I ordered an omelet, but the staff member seemed to forget the order almost immediately. Even after I reminded her that I had placed the order with her, she simply ignored me and made no effort to follow up. Furthermore, while waiting to use the coffee machine, a staff member cut in front of me even though I was already in line. What made this particularly surprising was that it was not another guest, but a member of the hotel staff. Overall, this experience was disappointing from both a service and maintenance perspective. However, it did provide an unexpected opportunity to gain a better understanding of how customer service standards can differ in India. If you have experience staying at Hilton properties in other countries, do not assume this hotel will offer anything close to the same level of service, maintenance, or guest experience. The Hilton brand name may be the same, but the actual experience was completely different from what I have come to expect from the brand.
