I had not stayed at the Comfort Inn in Gunnison before. The facility was convenient and well-priced compared to the alternatives. I had stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Gunnison many times, but it was not available this time. The Comfort Inn Express was very adequate for my needs and less than half the cost of the Holiday Inn. The breakfast was just as good and well maintained. Parking lot was well lite and safe. Restaurants and Walmart very close by.

Hotel was clean and quiet with great AC units. Towels were changed every day but for some reason beds never got made. Hot tub was completely out of order which was a bummer. We also booked a suite with a tub inside but did not get that upon arrival.

The airport shuttle was great and they worked around our schedule. The hotel is being well maintained. Our room was fine and yet they are in the process of updating everything. Hotel staff were helpful with dinner recommendations and getting us to exercise trails. It was a pleasure to be there. Downtown was an easy walk and we also walked to a great coffee shop. Walmart and city market grocery were right across Main Street from the hotel. All very convenient. You know it is a good spot when the flight crews stay there
