Great place to stay and enjoy the peacefulness. Incredible and thoughtful staff (Connie and her husband who are managing the property are the nicest people, who obviously love and enjoy what they do), unbelievable views, great like home-made food.
The surrounding landscape and amenities were great, the dome tent that you can rent is awesome with a great view. The fact that it is far away from the touristy areas and still has ziplining/horseback riding/hiking/dining area make it a very good getaway.

We stayed in the domes and it was an amazing time. Beautiful view, great breakfast, enjoyed all the wildlife in this secluded area.
The breakfast was prepared by a friendly staff. The room was clean. The management is uninterested. The pool is adequate yet shallow. The waterslide is a farce.
We had a wonderful stay at Vida Aventura Ranch. We were the only visitors staying here at the time, which meant we had the pool and jacuzzi to ourselves.
The owner, Jorge, was very kind and we had
Stunning location- you are surrounded by forest and pastures for the horses; very peaceful. The horseback riding is a must do. We rented the family suite and were impressed by the comfort it provided: complete kitchenette, comfortable beds. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, great breakfast, and conversations with Jorge. Him and his team also helped with some car problems. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Jorge made us feel right at home. The ranch is settled in gorgeous countryside. We did the zipline and horseback riding with awesome guides. The kitchen staff made us home cooked meals for an affordable price. Looking forward to staying again on our next trip to Costa Rica!
We stayed in the dome tent and it was amazing! We had a beautiful view when we woke up in the morning. There were showers and a mini fridge available too.
The food at the ranch is amazing! The cook is wonderful. The jacuzi, pool, and animals were also a great add on to a wonderful stay!
We stayed 2 nights in the amazing dome room ! It is spacious and well furnished and has everything you need !
The view is brearhtaking with beautiful sunset in the evening !
Big property that offers some acitivities (zipline, horse riding and small hike) ; you will be welcomed by the owner that will do everything to make your stay even better.
Place is quite isolated, so they propose dîner and breakfast that really worth it and quite cheap for quality !
Beautiful property- stayed 3 nights at a dome tent with my 7 year old- it was very modern and well equipped.
Staff are great and we enjoyed the zip lining and horseback rides while at the ranch. All were extremely convenient to book during our stay- available on an hours notice.
Food was excellent and traditional and the ladies in the kitchen working at the ranch were amazing.
If you are looking to do a horse back ride and zip line in Costa Rica I would highly recommend staying night or so and doing the activities while enjoying the property. It’s a better day than booking a tour from the coast if you have a car IMO, simply because you have more time to enjoy nature and generally more private zip lining and horseback riding so you could accomplish more.
Our stay was mid March 2025.
Activity prices were reasonable as was the stay.
We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. The dinner and breakfast was prepared for us by wonderful staff, and they catered for vegan, vegetarian and carnivores in our family group, including our 2-yr old grandson. We enjoyed the pool and waterslide during our brief stop, and enjoyed walking around the property with company from the very friendly (but not in your face!) dogs. The only very small thing is the wind turbines that made a small hum, but not enough to distract or keep us awake. The room was comfortable and had a small kitchen that would have worked well had we needed it. The road we took was very bumpy the last few miles, and we were glad we rented a 4-wheel truck rather than a regular car.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The dome tent was amazing. We only stayed one night but it’s a great little getaway off the beaten path
Something to bear in mind about Vida Aventura ranch is that it is remote. A lovely place to stay if you want to go horse-riding, or want to get away from it all. Once the sun goes down and the restaurant closes, there isn’t anything else nearby.
Vida Aventura Ranch was wonderful! It’s set back in beautiful rolling hills with a view of a volcano. I booked the last night of our trip there, before flying out of Liberia. After staying for the night, I wish that I booked more time.
They have horse back riding, zip lining, many trails, pools (including a water slide), and delicious food.
It is quiet, private, and relaxing. The staff are great. I would love to come back for a longer stay!
If you are looking to decompress, enjoy the natural beauty of a massive estate, and breath clean air - this place is the best!!! Jorge, the owner is a veteran of the tourism industry and is extremely knowledgeable about geography, history, pretty much everything Tico. The property has a few pools, a hiking trail, a water slide, horseback riding, zip lining, a jacuzzi, and more. Bring a yoga mat and a bathing suit.
