Staff was great with communication and answered any questions I had. Directions to the loft was a bit confusing due to the construction which is understandable. Unfortunately, there is no AC in the room which gets hot. Overall cleaned lofts/lobby. Great location, felt safe and multiple options for dining. If you don’t mind the hotness, then I would recommend this place to others!

The new apartment was an ideal for us, residents of Guatemala living in Panajachel. We had an early appointment at the nearby US Embassy. The directions need to be improved. We were directed to the wrong Cayala Lofts (there are several) and the underground parking was a confusing maze without a map or arrows. Very handy to park and walk to nearby excellent restaurants. We ate at Saul Mendez Bistro and Montanos.

Beautiful location but noisy and need maintenance

The area is beautiful and the view extraordinary. The only problem is the fan stopped working the first night so we left the balcony open and since there is a lot of partying going on, it is very noisy. The room smells really bad. There are plumbing issues in the bathroom and finally, si day 7:00am there was a guy with the loudspeaker inviting everyone to exercise so we were unable to get good rest.

The property is nice, though there was a smell coming from the shower drain. My guess is that the toilet and shower pipes are connected and they might be the same pipe somewhere down the like. Therefore, the smell. The coffee maker was broken. Coffee is a must how me every morning. It was a headache trying to get it fixed, so they finally replaced it. The staff though very polite, has very transactional communication, not very personal. Would I recommend it, because it was an exceptional place or experience? Not really. It's a convenient location, that's it.

Unit did not have air conditioning which was not a huge problem other than upstairs loft/bedroom area got a little stuffy. I ask for and promptly received a fan. I would suggest a non-industrial fan to keep the noise down.

More than a hotel, these are furnished apartments. Extremely comfortable, very quiet and peaceful. They don't have air conditioning. Everything in Cayalá is within easy walking distance. Very safe. At night, all the streets are well-lit. Next to the building, there are coffee shops, a gym, and a restaurant. Ideal for a 3-day stay, enough time to explore the entire Cayalá area. Keep in mind that it's not near downtown Guatemala City, and it takes about an hour to get to the airport.
